Always get my work boots there they last me 2.5 years. What is nice you can have them water proof and new laces at no cost usually do this after construction job Finnish.
Took my son there to buy him boots for his birthday. Angel was very helpful and we selected boots. When asked if they still give a union discount Angel said yes. I needed to show them the card. I said my son doesn’t have his card yet he’s an apprentice and hasn’t been sworn in yet. That’s when the manager Andrea got involved. She would not give us the discount. A letter head from his union showing his school hours was not good enough. I myself bought plenty of boots there and used my union card. BUT I was told they are my sons boots and I can’t use my card. Hard to believe this is the way she treats customers. A $300 pair of boots and a little $15 dollar union discount she lost the sale over. I called customer service and made a complaint and customer service was shocked. After I receive my $75 voucher and get his boots in the newington store. Definitely not at the Orange store. Just waiting for the district manager to call me. The only good thing that came out of it was my son was able to see how I handled the matter in the store like an adult. Didn’t raise my voice, wasn’t rude and wasn’t disrespectful. The Customer is always right even when they are wrong!
Tiny store, drove past it twice! . They do not carry every model unfortunately. I assumed a "company store" would have everything. It turned out ok...nice pair of people working there and I found a boot model that fit my needs.
I agree w/ other reviewers... pleasant but lack of salesmanship at this location. Asked to be sized and the lady said it didn't matter because the boots ran large anyway. Returned the pair I purchased because I decided to go w/ another color; would have exchanged but because of the lack of customer support, I took my business online. Brick and mortar stores should be fighting for business. I take my money seriously and so should they if they want repeat customers and recommendations to family and friends.
This doesn’t deserve 1 star Manger with the red hair is extremely rude and racist. Don't come to the orange CT store. Was told "this isn't Walmart" this is redwings very unprofessional
Easy Location, excellent customer service and good quality boots. Definitely recommend getting the orthotics is you have any foot issues. Will definitely buy here again.
Sales person was too lazy to even come out from behind the counter then when asked if she can order special sizes she said ' no ,in case you didn't notice there's a pandemic going on here!' we swiftly went to Arcioulos shoes in Milford where they spent an hour with us getting the perfect shoe

Went to Purchase My 3RD Pair of Work Boots as They Are a QUALITY PRODUCT as The Pair I am Currently Wearing Are 3 Years Old and Just Broken In. Originally, Went to Newington Location and Decided To See This Location. They Are Mainly Focused On Safety / Steel Toe Shoes; but Was Able To Find Other Options that Suited Me. The Customer Service Was Exceptional; Thank You [ Andrea ] From Start to Finish and Can Say The Trip Was Definitely Worth It!! Recommend & Return..
I made my purchase but the lady that day was poor at her job. It was like she really felt I wasn't gonna make a purchase. I had to ask her to put my feet on the machine to get the right insoles for the boots I purchased. And yea I called corporate and of course they could've cared less jus like she did because it wasn't no call yet about how I was treated while making a purchase. I jus wanted to go in and get sold on the purchase I made and I had to make the sale myself basically poor service.
Great staff, lots of variety. The most expensive work boots I buy, but they outlast every other brand that I've tried over the years. The boots I buy also have an electrical rating on them. They meet the specs for electrians, and mechanics that work on hybrid cars.
