We had great service the previous time we went so decided it would be good for a mother's day meal.  Again the service was amazing.  We did have issues with one of the meals as the sausages were not cooked and raw in the middle  however staff could not have been more helpful and the customer service we recieved was exemplary, we will definitely be coming back again soon.

Any time I've eaten here , I've  usually enjoyed my experience.  Today , I didn't enjoy the meal at all . Had fish and chips as they didn't have my preferred choice . Chips were  slightly over cooked and hard as was batter on fish which was extremely greasy .  I was unable to eat it and left most of it uneaten . Young lad who was waiting our table then asked if we were finished whilst my wife was still eating her meal which irked me a little and I found it a bit off putting   . Hopefully it was just a one off , as usually food is excellent and staff very attentive and helpful . Hopefully next time we go , it'll be a lot better than today .

I had one overnight stay, booked in after 2pm the room was lovely, warm, clean and very comfortable. We had food in the restaurant that evening again the service was first class with very friendly staff and excellent meal. If there was any criticism it was that I do enjoy a real ale and in my travels tasted yours I did accept that it would be a keg beer but it was"off" the waitress said  that perhaps it had been lying in the pipes too long however as it was Marstons I would expect better. However as the visit .ore than made up for one"bad" pint I will return when the occasion arises. The prices were also very competitive Thanks to all the staff.

This cozy restaurant has left the best first impression tonight! Starting with a wonderful host Leoni all throughout our visit she was great, so helpful and friendly. There was delicious dishes with beautiful presentations and a wide wine list and wonderful desserts I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.

Good service. The carvery is what we went for and it was good value for money. Selection of roast turkey, ham, or beef, and you can choose 4 slices with the big plate. Large selection of roast, boiled, mashed, and saute potatoes and loads of vegetables which you can help yourself to. Large vats of gravy and a selection of complimentary sauces. Strangely, there was mint sauce, though no lamb on offer.

Helpful friendly yet efficient staff made our overnight stay a pleasure. Very comfortable. A bin at the breakfast buffet table could be useful but the serving staff were great and the food very good. The bed and room were clean and comfortable and the location convenient and relatively quiet.

Went in for a Sunday carvery and it was delicious! The staff were all lovely and welcoming, it was very quiet so we were served really quickly, and the quality and range of food was excellent. Would recommend for a quick stop off, great place to take the kids too!

I came in for breakfast which was delicious considering most vegetarian food is questionable elsewhere. I had the vegetarian breakfast with my eggs poached and a caramel latte. Everything was delicious latte was the perfect temperature. Staff was so accommodating and professional. I think his name was David but I could be wrong. Will definitely be back, highly recommend

The team are absolutely fantastic. We didn’t book a table but our server Lucy sat us down with no issue. Food is great and so is the service! Will definitely be back

I can only comment on the restaurant, this is not a negative response but having spent over 30 years in Restaurants, Catering and Banqueting I am always amazed how catering and the service industry allows you to spend your money but I have to get the table back by a certain time. I fully understand the reasoning behind this and this is the norm in the world. I would like to say that all staff were very helpful, attentive and especially the young chef on the carvery  Noteworthy details: I did not book as I could not find the opening and closing times for food service. I did find the restaurant opening and closing times. Thank you to all personnel for a wonderful lunch and faultless
