Food is great. Waiting times not long. Staff are friendly. I ordered a £4 large cod with a £3.30 Sausage special and a £1 carton of mushy peas Still unsure as to how am £8.30 order came up to £10.40 tho so had to go cash machine to get more money. Probably won't be visiting again in the near future for those extra surprise prices
Great range of takeaway items from the menu, fast service with a smile from the team. Value for money, you get what you pay for and it's hot. Chips piled high with every order, I always order one portion between 2 people
Today whilst visiting Edlington we did come across Red Sea Fish Bar and decided to go in and order. We did order 1 large fish and 1 large chips, also 1 large fish and 1 small chips. After ordering the assistant said that would be £14.00 something, however, can not remember exactly what the something moneywise was. The fish was absolutely awful, grey in.colour and was certainly not thick flakes of fish. The menu board showed cod. This fish was certainly not cold. We would never use this fish and chip shop again and would not recommend it, hence only giving this shop one star.
Great meal deals, brill customer service, clean place, good variety on the menu, they even do gluten free fish and chips! And homemade meals like their chilli con carne and rice! Deliveries are always piping hot and cooked fresh. Highly recommend.
Charleine Hirst recommended this place to me. Couldn't believe the menu. Not just fish and chips but kebabs, burgers and boneless chicken. I had a jacket with homemade coleslaw. Jenine Bould served me but all the staff are friendly. Highly recommend
Asked a friend Charleine Hirst for recommendation for food in her area as I’m from down south. She told me about this chippy. Menu has something for everyone even my daughter who’s vegetarian. Jenine bould was very helpful with deciding on what to get. If I lived closer I would visit most days. Highly recommended
Got asked to go to the Red Sea fish bar by Charliene Hirst for a Friday night takeaway and I couldn’t be happier with the service provided by Jenine Bould, Quality. Outstanding food and the kebabs are to die for!!!!

Really good fish n chip place. Plus you can get all sorts of others foods like kebabs, burgers etc. Something for everybody really ... & very friendly staff.
Charleine hirst suggest the Red Sea bar for an amazing takeaway, and I was delighted by the service provided by Jenine bould, super friendly, happy that I went, I will definitely be having a jacket potato again. SUPER HAPPY
