I like that the staff are really friendly and know your name. I always feel welcome, they have a good variety of drinks, lots of ales and gins. Nice pool table, plenty of rooms to choose and I feel comfortable in any of the rooms.

Cracking old fashioned boozer. I say old fashioned because this place looks like something that never left the 70s. This is a good thing in my opinion! Cosy rooms, cheap beer, friendly staff. Brill.
A great local pub friendly staff and good beer
First return since pre COVID. The premises have been impressively extended which is a really positive move. Excellent service and product range. Together with my cycling chum we enjoyed tea and coffee outside in the we'll set out picnic table area with a couple of slices of delicious apricot tea bread. Made on the premises and tasty we were delighted to find the tea bread loaves also in sake in the farm shop So we both bought one to take home. We will be back regularly.
Lovely evening with family. My third time at the red lion in 20years. Coming from South Africa it is our local pub when we visit family in UK, best priced drinks in all of UK!!!

Traditional drinkers pub. Guinness on tap is very good. Best Guinness in Littleborough. Wide selection of beers, spirits, gins and wine. They also take card!
My first visit with friends to this Little Gem of a Traditional Pub and will definitely call again. Lovely warm atmosphere and very cosy!
Took me back to the good days. The best pint off real ale Red lion bitter 10/10
