Stopped here for a Saturday lunch and had a lovely meal. Ham, egg and chips was delicious, reasonably priced soft drinks and the cakes looked incredible but was too full from the lunch. Top quality safety measure in for Covid-19. Would definitely stop by again if in the area.
Called in for Lunch, has the Red Lion Burger with cheese and bacon, didn't look great on presentation, dry looking, but turned out to be quite tasty, burger and bacon were really nice, definitely not shop bought, pleasant service from the young Ladies behind the bar too.
A lovely old hotel with a Tudor style four poster bed in my room. The hotel had like a medevil theme with coats of arms and Knights in armour. Some lovely paintings and a beautiful wall tapistry in the dining room. Clean and well kept, and very welcoming. Will be staying again, thanks.
Came here for an evening meal and was not disappointed. The portions are large and delicious and the service was good and friendly. A really nice selection of drinks too. Thoroughly recommend it.
Enjoyed the look and feel of the Red Lion and staff were helpful but not great choice of food when I came through. Been told the Sunday carvery is good... ... But I was there on a Saturday
