Despite all the negative comments I've ordered a meal from the red lantern, and another one, and 2 more, on the four separate occasions the food was delicious, hot, and quickly done for the order even though the place was busy and the phone constantly rang. The owner was very polite too!
Very disappointing meal. Vegetarian starters poor not a vegetable in sight and one dish not actually cooked King Prawn fried rice. Crispy Duck was good and Chicken Curry ok. Noodles overcooked and flavourless.
Friendly atmosphere, great staff, food always fresh & hot. Lots to choose from on the 'all l you can eat menu' and washed down with the house Rose! Perfect! Never a problem getting a table, always do their best to accommodate. One of the rare takeaways in Chepstow that will deliver out to the outlaying villages witch is priceless.
It's literally the same as all Chinese take away food places. It sells the pretend Chinese food for British palettes. They do so effectively. 4/5 stars
Great food and attentive service. Very nice staff. Can't fault the quality of the meal.
