Still operating during lock down with very good social distancing measures. If you get hungry buy be aware you have to consume your food and drinks on the outer upper deck so the weather might be a factor. Friendly staff and excellent services.
Some staff can be rude and insensitive. Had to just take my face mask off to clean my face due to the sensitive nature of my face mask. Got told by staff in a rude manner that I hard nothing on my face. I ask how insensitive she was, and was told i should not be on board if I did not like it.
Be better if people kept their face coverings on and didnt drink inside. Extremely busy for lockdown

Fantastic experience on the red funnel. The ferry runs on a perfect schedule and sailing is super smooth. A shout out goes out to the staff running the service an excellent team. Safety is one of the my concern and I can say I was impressed. Bon voyage

C19 measures mean wearing a face covering whilst on-board. Outward journey was great, lovely wind. Return journey was packed and really hot so not as enjoyable. On time, easy drive on and disembark. Booked through our hotel and got a bargain.
The best car ferry service to the iow out of Southampton 10/10 would sail again
