Me and my partner decided to checkout this place yesterday and deeply regretted it! It was our first and what will be our last visit here. All the food was cold, The chips were rock hard, I could have hammered nails into the wall with them they were that bad.....worst chips I've ever had, the chicken pineapple was bland likewise the chicken, the fish was practically all batter! All in all avoid this place at all costs!
Recently used this take a way as our usual was temporarily shut. Excellent food, arrived in good time, great sized portions and hot.

Just ordered mushroom omelette from here. Have used this establishment before and not had a problem. However tonight's meal has gone in the bin. Chips uncooked and hard omelette was cold and tasteless. Won't be ordering again.
Always had nice food from Ocean Star. And found the staff friendly and helpful. Menu pretty much covers all the Chinese food options you could ask for. Normal chip shop options are nice as well. I would Definitely recommend this Chinese Take Away.

So the manager of this chip shop thinks it’s ok to park his car that close to me that I couldn’t even open my drivers side door. He literally gave me about 10cm if that!!! Loads of space outside absolutely no need!!
Very disappointed. Noodles not cooked Thoroughly - Still crispy and in a slab at the bottom of the tray. Sauce for the chow main was bland and thick. Prawn toast was nice and veg spring rolls nice. Crispy shredded beef was chewy and very little sauce. Friendly service and comparatively cheap but would not go again. What a shame
Rubbish. We ordered food from these a few weeks back. Two hours after the food still had not arrived so we made our own tea and when the food eventually turned up they didn't get a penny of our money because we didn't answer the door. Take my advice, if you order from here make sure you pay cash on delivery. That way if it's stupidly late you can just not answer the door and they can place their food where the sun does not shine :
What happened to this place? Used to be great. Tonight the special fried rice had almost no meat and only 2 prawns. The chips had been fried so many times they were greasy crisp things and the prawn crackers were old, cold, soggy and off.... Terrible food.
