Well maintained. Friendly, helpful staff.
The staff here are excellent - I've been there a lot in the past six months. Staff know exactly what can be recycled into which bin and if they are not too busy will often help to unload your car. Everything is clearly laid out and marked. I really can't think of any way this can be improved. Full marks to the council and especially the workers on site. For me it's not a chore to book - takes one minute.

Wonderful, helpful staff.nBut why is prebooking necessary now that covid restrictions don't require social distancing in open spaces?nAnd if we have to pre-book multiple visits can the website be set up to remember us so that we don't have to laboriously type in the same information over and over again?
Booked an appointment over a week ago, for Friday 10/7/20 at 10am. Loaded the car to the brim with garden waste, rugs, cardboard etc, only to be told when we got there “They are closed due to a mechanical fault!!! I said “the skips aren’t mechanical, surely I can drive round, drop off the waste and leave within 5 mins”? He looked up where the skips are placed, “can’t do that” he said, beating in mind the truck that had the mechanical fault was actually sitting behind the skips, so no danger or obstruction to the public. I told him I had No prior notification of any issues! “Ah you was SUPPOSED to be informed, maybe they missed you”, said the council worker! How can they contact me, there is no phone number or email address on the booking receipt. He then told me I could go to Stonehaven, I said “without a booking!”. He replied “No, you will need to book a slot! Well that was very helpful! So I have had to return home with a full car, and had to off load it, not amused, and now my hands are in agony because I have to wear splints. Disgusted with Aberdeenshire Council and their unhelpful staff!
