I can't recommend this spa highly enough, all the treatments I had since being a client, from manicures to facials are just fantastic. I felt compelled to write this review as I just had the new IonActive treatment, I feel and look great! The whole experience, from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave deserves 5 stars from me. Looking forward to my next visit.

I love the nurturing atmosphere in the Reading Room. Low lighting, warm towels, friendly, quietly-spoken staff and a peaceful location all go towards a really relaxing experience. Taking time to slowly re-enter the everyday world is not such a harsh jolt when one is ensconced on a couch wrapped in a blanket with a cup of tea. There is no rush to see you off the premises, and no pressure to rebook. From therapist to receptionist, all staff come across as experienced and welcoming. A truly pampering indulgence. The monthly offers are something to look forward to, like a luxurious treat.

From the moment you arrive, a warm and inviting welcome awaits you. You are greeted with a glass of juice, a nice personal touch. From there you are invited to your treatment room, all of which are unique and charming and have heated duvets!!. The whole place makes you feel cosy and very comfortable which is exactly what you want when you go to a spa. For me it was an escape from the daily stresses, a place to go and unwind in tranquil surroundings. I left there feeling totally relaxed and cant wait for my next visit, make sure you book early as its so very popular now the locals know about it!!

Such a beautiful spa! The lovely staff always make you feel welcomed and nothing is too much trouble. I love that you are encouraged to relax with a cup of tea in the snug after your treatment instead of being rushed out the door like at a lot of spas. The beautifully packaged gift vouchers make the perfect gift for both men and women. I can't recommend Reading Room Day Spa enough! It's worth following them on Twitter too as you get really great offers.
