We are a warm and welcoming Modern Orthodox Jewish community of friends based in and around Reading. We cater for all ages including young children. Our synagogue is a little gem of a building and we love visitors. Come and see us soon!

Story

We are a warm friendly Jewish community and the only one in the area to offer regular weekly modern orthodox services and many other activities for all ages including young children both inside our wonderful Synagogue, adjoining community hall and other venues. Some of the warmest, most welcoming people I have ever had the chance to daven, eat, and chat with. As a visiting student, I didn't know anyone in Reading when I first arrived. The community at the RHC welcomed me with open arms. They invited me to join in their services, to eat at their homes, and to participate in their events. I am deeply grateful to the community for their kindness, and I hope anyone visiting Reading and in need of a shul will pay them a visit.
It's funny how somebody can bully children into being scared of going to what was once a second home and then when they come back, try and bully them into saying they weren't bullied...
Very disgusting.
