No designated women's area, but I was able to pray upstairs. No flooring at the moment, just the sponge they put under the carpet. Men came upstairs whilst I was praying which made me uncomfortable and was distracting.
Much better after renovations, amazing library and hopefully will get better

Really nice environment and I love to go there. Management of masjid is well mannered and cooperative
, not sure if the brothers are looking to put a carpet down but the whole Masjid had underlay of carpet which was a little bit difficult to pray on on plus nobody really had prayer mats and one brother whilst making secured was coughing on to these plastic E-Type underlay not very appropriate I would say if the community can get together and contribute to this Masjid it is a spacious place and get some proper carpet in in then alhamdulillah the place would look and feel much better
I heard that there isn’t space allocated for women and they discourage it for some reason. Disappointing for women who work or live close by.

It is just few minutes from town centre, a lot of renovation work but very well organised
A very serene place of worship that has a contemporary architecture and design. The mosque has beautiful minaret and a large dome that perfectly fit the neighbourhood of central Oxford Road in Reading. The busy times are of course the times of prayers when the worshippers gather but Friday afternoon prayers are the highlights when the mosque gets crowded. Visitors from all denominations are welcome to visit the mosque and appreciate its beauty and splendour. But of course the best times to visit would be in between the prayers time so that you do not disturb the worshippers during the prayer times. There’s a small car park and a great convenience for visitors coming from far away.
The best spiritual and peaceful place. But this Masjid needs more donations to be completed.
