I have been a Landlord with Reades since they first started, I notice that its all tenants who are giving bad reviews,  I can tell you first hand that deposits are only kept if the property is not as it was when the tenant moved in which is all held on a video inventry.  I rented my house out without reades for 1 year and it cost me £6k in unpaid rent, court evictions and judgments.  Reades are the best in the game in my opinion, and any deposit that has been kept will not go to Reades but to the landlord who needs to put the property right.

I've been a tenant; landlord and house seller with Reades - found them to be thoroughly professional.  No idea why there are so many negative reviews on here.

Treat tenants very poorly!!! Extremely unhelpful and even hostile at times - they're all about the money! I won't be renting from Reades Residential ever again

I will give you some really good advice and avoid this estate agents , they have taken almost half of our security deposit for absolutely nothing £90 for topsoil and grass seeds when it was the weather that had ruined it , and the rest for cleaning after we had spent a day cleaning the place , I would recommend using a different estate agents as Reades residential is a waste of money , a long as they have there money coming in they have no care or respect for their tenants
