Walked in and was pleasantly surprised to see bags of yarn… because I knit for the homeless I was excited to get a deal. ..$25 for a small bag of baby yarn that sells for half that price in the store. All the bags of yarn were way over priced. I was shocked and disappointed as this is all donated… we didn’t get what we went in for due to the prices… we won’t be returning, nor will we be donating.
This is one of the newer stores so it's nice and tidy. I always find a good deal here at a great price. They often have one-offs that you'd never expect to find in a store like this. To make things even better, the first Wednesday of the month is Seniors Day, which gets any senior 60+ an additional 20% off. This is such a wonderful initiative--everybody benefits! Thank you to all who make this happen!
Went in today, found an oven with attached microwave. Yes it was Bosch, but it was used. It was donated to you so how dare you charge $2999.99 for it. Sickening. So insanely overpriced it's not even funny actually. Cannot get over where this company gets off on charging that kind of money on used appliances. Do better, stop corporate greed
I am proud that Grimsby ReStore is a part of our community! They do amazing work for so many people and myself and family have not only donated many items but purchased just as much if not more! They don't just put anything on the floor and you can see that when you visit the store. Their donation center team is always great to deal with. Cheryl is so helpful, with our last donation we gave quit a bit of exercise equipment and weights and she took the time to check out what the market price was for those items. I cannot think of a better place you would want to support even if you are not from the Grimsby area. They are worth the trip! Thank you guys for all you continue to do to make the world a better place one donation at a time.
Nice place to look for your home improvement at a reasonable price
I don't post reviews however my recent visit to Grimsby ReStore is definitely worthy of one. I was really impressed with how clean and organized this location is as well as their wide selection and friendly staff. Cheryl in particular was very helpful. I will be returning!
I kept hearing about Habitat For Humanity and finally had a chance to go when I was in a desperate situation to buy some furniture for my dad who was quickly going into an assisted living home. This truly is a “jewel in Grimsby”. I was made to feel so welcome once I entered the store and was given all the help I needed! I had my purchases delivered and that’s where I want to give a huge shout out to the warehouse staff and the delivery drivers! I had unique circumstances and had to have the furniture shipped asap. Thanks to the warehouse staff, especially Cheryl, they fixed an unforeseen situation and thanks to the drivers, they went above and beyond to help me! If not for this place, I would have been “up the creek”! lol Thank you so much Habitat For Humanity, you are what community is all about!!
We had Habitat for Humanity remove our kitchen cabinets, countertop, dishwasher, sink and oven hood fan. Jeff and Hayden were on time, very professional, and very pleasant. They took good care to protect the rest of the house and cleaned up after removing everything. We are so grateful for this non-profit organization. Thank you so much.
Love my finds here at this store. Want great help? All staff And volunteers are great. Sandra is one of the volunteers and she is super friendly, helpful and also runs the social media page on Facebook. Look for those deals.
Wonderful clean and friendly store. Had the pleasure of meeting Rick who was a tremendous help in assisting us with our purchase. As a volunteer, he went above and beyond to assist us, for which we are so grateful. THANK YOU RICK
