Just collected my 2010 Renault traffic  it's like a different motor, it had issues with 5th and 6th gears and the clutch was so heavy and on its way out. Ross was straight with me regarding the work that was needed and turned it around in no time which as a sole trader is a must for me. I highly recommend Reengineering for any gearbox and clutch repair or replacement you won't be disappointed

Despite having a breakdown in communication that could have led to a bad situation, Ross was very professional and easy to deal with. We were able to resolve the issue quickly and amicably. Sometimes it's the people and not just the job they do that counts and it seems that Ross and the whole team are the right sort of people to trust.

I was having transmission issues with my VW Golf, which I rely on for work. My usual mechanic does not offer specialist transmission services, so I took a chance with Re Engineered Transmissions after reading lots of positive online reviews. Their reputation is well deserved - Ross's commmunication was excellent as he took me through all the different possible outcomes and provided me with updates at every stage of the process. I dropped my car off on a Monday afternoon and it was repaired by the Friday. This included the diagnostic work, ordering of a replacement part, fitting and testing. My car has a lot of sentimental value to me, and I'm so pleased that it is back on the road. I will be recommending Re Engineered to everyone I know who needs similar work done on their own vehicles.

Amazing. Took my xc90 in with clunky gear changes, juddering under acceleration and lock up solenoid problems. Got it back yesterday, did 170miles and didn’t even feel it changing gears. Won’t go anywhere else for gearbox work.

Outstanding service. Ross was most helpful and gave confidence that the auto gearbox on my Mercedes E300 could be restored and indeed it was. It was well worth the journey up and back from Torquay as I was turned down from numerous other gearbox specialists who would not touch it. Thoroughly recommended.

Reengineered Transmissions reconditioned my volvo xc90 gearbox and fitted it on my car for me. The petrol 2.9 with LPG gas is an added headache when fitting the gearboxes but they did the repairs and fitting for me after another company failed to fix the gearbox for me.  Happy with the work and service I received and would have no issues recommending them at all.

Ross with his extensive technical knowledge and the team gave me a fantastic, professional experience, from my first phone call, updating me throughout the job,with picture evidence. I had a well known e-clutch issue 4th-5th, on my BMW 2008 E93 330i auto. The gearbox has been rebuilt, and it still drives like a dream several months on. Great job!

i was very worried about my old ageing van, much loved but very old now, so when she needed a new gearbox it seemed a huge problem, was it worth it would it be easy how long would it take. I firstly couldn't find anyone who was willing to do the job. Eventually got to Reengineered Transmissions, not my part of the world but Russ was knowledgeable, honest and open with the advice and what would be required. I was amazed that it was taken on straight away, I made the journey with only 3 gears out of 5, the drive shaft was also in need and I decided on a new clutch too as it was fitted at parts cost and really not worth leaving. So happy to get the van back drove home lovely, its done a trip to Devon too now in the hands of my son with no issues. A big thanks to Russ and all the folks who work there. Hopefully I never need another gearbox in any vehicle, but if I do then I would be thinking about these guys straight away. Phil Harris

I needed by semi auto van repaired, after complete stop on a hill with no gearbox message. The AA relayed it to Re engineering and after a diagnosis, the clutch and piston needed replacing. This was all completed in a reasonable amount of time, then it was back on the road. Thank you for your expertise
