I went to Razza it was one worst korma I ever taste and extremely salty and mushrooms rice was awful. I won’t be going back there again.. it use be lovely but I think they change chef
Used to go to the Razza years ago but I moved to Chelmsford. I was in the area visiting friends and thought I'd give it a go. Glad I did as the food was superb, just like I remember. I haven't found anywhere as nice in Chelmsford. The only reason I haven't given five stars is a strange incident happened which I've never witnessed before. It was interesting though! Definitely recommend the food.
Over the years we have had good food and good customer service until last night, a larger group of people booked like us no table for them the waiter told them to wait on the table next to us small table so crowded & watching us eat one man was standing by my chair, the manager found it very funny, he offered us a discount & a drink but didn’t. How uncomfortable and to happen twice. Wish I could find the owner as I feel this was unacceptable.

Fantastic food but miserable unfriendly staff! Been many times and only 1 member of staff was ever friendly! It’s a shame as we would come again! 5 stars for food 1 star for customer service
ordered 2 curries and rice and found hair in ALL of them. returned everything to the restaurant and asked for a refund for our food since you know, that's disgusting, and were argued with by 3 employees who refused to grasp the seriousness of the issue and expected the replacement of one dish to be satisfactory remediation. upon asking to speak to the owner, he accused us of lying because 'times are tough during covid'. avoid not just because you're gonna end up with hair in your food but also because everyone who works there cannot grasp basic food hygiene or customer service.

We have been coming here for a few years and enjoy the variety of the dishes on offer , the sides are good value and the poppadoms and dips are a great start. Could do with a few more vegetables In curry's, and more coriander in my opinion but each dish has a unique flavour so thumbs up there.
