Easy to on-line book even on the day as long as you show the email confirmation as you drive in. The new system means no queue to get in and fantastic helpful staff. If you need any help to get your items up the stairs and into the bins they are more than happy to help.
I visited 22/3/23 to get rid of a few bits and pieces. The staff there were very friendly and so happy to help with any queries on where to put certain items! I also noticed a member of staff taking alot of cardboard up the stairs and into the skip for a lady with an injured leg. The staff are so friendly and helpful to everyone and go the extra mile! The booking system is easy to use and there was no queues because of it. The only criticism I have is having to book 1 day prior, no on the day bookings, and only 1 visit a day. Otherwise fantastic recycling centre and can't praise staff enough!
First time I used the new booking service, now you can book on the day, really convenient ,excellent service,just remember to have a copy of a letter which includesnyour home address as this a requirement to use the recycle centre
Despite following all the rules and booking a slot, the guy with the clipboard appears to be unaware that I only need to be resident of Essex to visit here, and not local. I live a whole 4 and a bit miles away!
Did have a grizzle when they said it would be bookings only in future, but it’s made it as easy as booking an on line MOT, plenty of next day slots, and you are not snaking around the corner now causing mayhem, just go straight in. Staff always friendly, just make sure all items Put in correct places. You get 15 minute slots now which is more than enough time. It’s a recycle centre after all. Its clean and safe to me. Well done all
