I have  used the  services of  RAW CLARK for the  past 6 years  for  both  buying  and  selling  property  and  businesses. They  have  always  been  very  professional  and  helpful.  While  selling  a  cafe last  month  Alan Tulip  came into the  office  on  a Sunday  morning  to  meet with  us  and  go  over the  contract  prior to  signing. Great  service, I  would  highly  recommend  them.

Can not recommend enough, I used Caroline Merifield for the sale of my house and she was very responsive and always on the ball.  A Good solicitor is crucial when buying and selling houses and I will always recommend RAW to anyone!!

I don't doubt the integrity of this firm but I definitely wouldn't recommend them. I can only echo some of the comments I've already read. They were just terrible at communicating with us (and each other). We would regularly be told no-one was available to speak to us and that someone would call us back which they never did. We communicated information to one of the staff members on numerous occasions and would find several weeks later that it hadn't been communicated through the team. The outcome of this was that another member would ring us asking for the same information 2-3 weeks later much to our frustration as we thought they had already been acting on the issue for us. It slowed the process of buying our house down considerably.

I get the impression that they scan over your file around once a week if you are lucky and as such they don't act promptly and can also miss things that have come from other parties involved in the conveyancing process. We were told they hadn't received any information re an enquiry we made and so we pretty much gave up on it. Then a couple of days before we moved in they produced the information we needed though it was obviously too late to make any decisions using it. After we moved into the property we got speaking to the ex owner who told us that she had provided the information weeks and weeks earlier. So it had obviously been buried in the file paper they had for us and forgotten about. There were also a couple of occasions towards the end where we had to take matters into our own hands due to the pace they were going and ring people they were dealing with to speed things up. They rarely seemed to show the initiative to do this independently of our pressure. 

We began the process of buying our house with them and during the 19 weeks it took, the sellers found their own new place to live, began their own conveyancing process for this property, were gazumped on that property, searched for and found another one and completed the conveyancing process on it. All in the time it took RAW Clark to just prepare ours. Basically they work at a snails pace. 

As I say I don't doubt their ability but they were very frustrating and seemed a little dated in their organisation of things. I really wouldn't recommend them. .

Difficult to describe just how disappointing the service provided by this firm of solicitors was- but they managed to make a simple house purchase ( cash buyer, no chain, empty property) into and expensive and frustrating nightmare. Slow to respond to emails, rarely returned calls, never anyone available to speak to. Using their services has been a costly mistake for us. I can only assume that the 5 star ratings were left by their Mum!
