The food was fabulous and delicious. I ordered chicken biryani , we’ll cooked generous amount although it was not like authentic Karachi style but still tasted so good I ordered one for takeaway as well and lamb nihaari, I must say the best nihaari I had in London to date. The place is a bit small but clean. The waiter was friendly and also got our nihaari reheated when I asked because I like my dishes piping hot. The waiter told us it’s cash only Resturant but later managed to charged us via card machine, better to take cash with you
- Lamb seekh kebabs : nothing special had better ones at home from freezer - Nihari and naan : Really good - Fried fish : Awesome, ordered it again - Lassi : Really nice. Requested a sweet and Sour mixed one and they made it - Chicken boti : Really nice We went on Saturday afternoon, wasn't busy, and staff were really responsive
Their food is the only thing that sets this apart. It's simply fantastic. London's best food is available for a reasonable price. The only other thing to keep in mind is that there is only 1 man who takes orders, grills kebabs, and cleans tables. Therefore, you can be upset to see that the one staff member is neglecting your food when it becomes late. But I'm simply here for their delicious meals. nothing more
Extremely good, authentic, and reasonably priced. Meant to take a picture of the food, but forgot, as it was so good
Gem of a place, obscure and simple. The kebabs were one of the best I've ever had. The nihari and dal gosht were equally delicious. Naans and parathas were wholesome and fresh. The food arrived quite quickly too. Very reasonably priced as well. Its a place you go to for their finger licking food rather than ambience or service.
Walked in on saturday 18/2/23 around 2:30 pm. The restaurant has just gotten empty. Asked the gentleman to take our order and he v rudely said wait 5 minutes. He continued to hum around and slowly clear all the table, then continued to slowly clean away while making us wait. No curtesy at all. It went about 10 minutes of waiting quietly and still no order got taken, we decided to ask how long he will take. He rudely said, oh we clean everything before we take next order. We requested to at least have been told about that once we sat down. The guy was so so rude and cold and from his attitude it felt like he was not interested in customers or serving us we decided to leave. He seemed almost relieved to let us go. It was a horrible experience and i wouldn’t recommend going there.
Top of the line food, at the heart of London. The quality of the food and service goes to show why this place has been around for so long. Would definitely recommend Food: 5/5
This place is nowhere near as it was a few years back. Menu is slashed into almost half, timings are reduced, and they are accepting cash only. The food was very oily and tasteless. Sorry to see a good place go down so badly.Food: 1/5
Don't let the bland interior and corny furniture mislead you, this is by far the single most authentic place for Pakistani food I have eaten in London in the 12 years of my life here as migrant. I googled the area for Halal food and the chicken shop next to Raavi Kebab came up, but it was too busy when so attended so decided to walk into here, must admit it was the best decision ever made, will always go there again whenever in the area next. The place is cash only though hence little inconvenient in this day and age.
Excellent nihari and really fresh naans. Food got a bit cold as it was close to iftar time but the nihari more than made up for it. Will surely revisit on my next London trip!Food: 5/5
