Last night we found a jewel in York's crown. Rascills in raskelf. We were welcomed in to this fantastic looking restaurant by Lindsey a perfect host nothing was too much trouble . All five courses were served with a brief description of what the dishes were. They were all cooked perfectly by chef richard every thing looked and tasted amazing the lamb was to die for . As it was my birthday an extra course of sticky toffee pudding and Bailey's ice cream with a candle was served a lovely touch. Thank you both so much for a great evening.

Dropped in for lunch. Great welcome from Lindsay and terrific food from Richard and his very able trainee chef. A must for a return visit as this is masterclass food and presentation.
