The ribeye steak I had was ok. The full rack of ribs my husband had was dry but the sauce on top was good. The onion rings we had as starters was dripping in oil. However, staff was really nice. Also, special mention to the owner who went up to our table to ask us about the food was so welcoming. Overall it was good! Gave only 3 stars as my husband's food was dry.
Do you know what? It's a great steak place, the Google 'menu" makes it looked dated, and it's certainly not cheap but I had a Coffee, a Coke and dinner for £30. The steak was honestly amazing. Perfect cut, cooked well and marinaded beautifully. The chips were nothing special disappointingly but this is a steak place and not a chips place. The service was good and very attentive, not as per the Google reviews.
Very limited choice in soft drinksonly coke, diet coke and lemonade, but the meals make up for that and then some! We enjoyed some really well cooked dishes as family of 4, mixed grill, tenderloin, ribs, chicken fillet, all tasted really nice. French fries and baked potato incl soms sauces were nice as well. Would visit again!
Always a great main meal! Staff are great! They just need to sort out the house side salad half a cherry tomatoe 2 slices of cucumber and half a slice of red onion is appalling for the price. we've had this on numerous occasions and is always the same so it's a standard content ........... Must stop ordering a side salad clearly
The times waiting for food were too long, the burger was so dry and all the food was cold, we waited 1 hour after the starter to get the main course and just because I asked for my food the salad was a mess and they basically ruin Mother’s Day celebration. Really disappointed because the prices are really high I was thinking they have better service. I didn’t even complain for the food because it was pointless I didn’t wanted to wait another hour for my food.
I've ordered a medium rare ribeye and my hus and a medium rare rump. The flavour of the meat is nice, still the pictures are proof that neither the ribeye nor the rump are medium rare. Even though when my ribeye was brought, I've asked if indeed it's medium rare as it didn't look right and it was rechecked with the kitchen and confirmed as medium rare. A bit dissappointed as it's listed as a steakhouse. Service was good and as there were only 4 tables, the drinks/food came very fast
Rancho Steak House in Poole was a great finish to a lovely day. The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, outstanding quality, perfectly cooked, amazing flavour, staff were very friendly and the owner was on hand to let him know what a great place to eat. Will defo be going again to try out another delicious dish.

Very pleased. I felt like a very valued as a customer. Food was great no complaints I had the rump steak and ribs, admittedly I'm not a great lover of rump steak but they have changed my mind as it was cooked beautifully. Fairly priced with good portions. I can't fault it at all. All staff including chef's were very friendly and accommodating. Thank you to the staff making a very pleasant and enjoyable experience we will see you again soon Parking: Parking across the road multistorey.
Loved every bit of my meal! Had steak, ribs and chips all cooked beautifully. Staff including the chefs were very welcoming, polite and accomodating. The restaurant was spotless and smelled clean and fresh. I Would highly recommend their food and the price was good too. I will definitely be returning in the future.
