My nan 81 years old used this company to move her from the south to the north. She didn't have a house so put her items in storage. A year later and she finally had her house. Got her 13 or so boxes out of storage as well as a few other bits. Removal men did not wear protection on feet nor as I would have done it had one empty the van whilst the other loads into rooms. So there is mud on the carpets not an ideal start. My nan noticed a few of the boxes weren't hers and a few appeared to be damp. We opened these boxes some had my nan's original box I side however that original box was wet. So they put a wet box in a dry box, totally makes sense. The boxes that were my nan's boxes that had got wet unfortunately had special memories in from her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren the material things she could cope with, wet clothes, mouldy shoes and things missing. Memories however from her family and friends she can't. So far it's taken 10 days just to speak to anyone properly at ramshaws as well as emails. Meanwhile my poor nan is so sad that she trusted these people and they have totally screwed her over

Total Joke Despite what their web site states they are not very professional and clearly not capable of planning anything efficiently. We had them provide a survey so that we could get an accurate quote. Despite the quote being competitive the inventory missed out the master bedrooms king size bed. I call them to confirm that it was accounted for. The quote then increased by £60 for a bed that’s flat packed?? They also expected us to pay addition charges for the loane of mattress protectors and a fridge freezer protector which pushed my Quote from £600 to £705.60 Being Ex Military I have moved 6 times in the last 4 years and they are the first to charge for the loan of such protection. It’s in their own interest to provide them to reduce risk of claims against them. (Bad business practice) Over the course of 10 emails my quote had changed 3 times due to their incompetence and they stated that they required two days to complete my move due to their system making an error on the distance to the new address and so it doubled the origenal cost. I have since found an alternative (Homecare Removals & storage) and I feel I have totally dodged a bullet here since reading the previous reviews of which none have ever received a response too. That speaks volumes about the company’s professionalism. FYI, Anyone who has given 5 stars to this company and not provided a write up to back the review in my experience is usually fake. My alternative supplier have provided a competitive quote and not charged any extra for TV, mattress or fridge freezer protectors. Plus it’s got free insurance up to the value of £50.000. So if you’re reading this then I suggest you think very carefully before committing to this supplier. You have been warned.

We used this company to deliver goods to our new address in Spain from the UK. They initially told us it would take about a week to make the delivery. Our goods arrived 7 weeks later with one damaged box and some of its contents missing. Our TV which we paid extra for them to package was damaged ( cracked screen). We paid this company to insure our goods but after several emails I have not received one reply. I have requested a copy of the insurance policy and compensation for our TV but again no reply. I will be contacting a UK solicitor regarding this to sue for the damaged TV and to find out what type of insurance if any was taken out by this company for the £120 insurance I paid them. You can draw your own conclusions , but I personally would not use this company again.

Absolutely disgraceful and unprofessional damaged all our furniture put in storage and delivered to us a fire surround that wasn't ours! Never put any protection on their feet when in our home and were a joke don't ever use this company

Very disappointing. Not offered carpet protection of any description. Removal men trampled mud through carpets. Didn't seem to care when I complained. Ramshaws refused to pay 20 for carpet cleaning stuff for me to clean it. Said it was tough and I should have taken out 'carpet protection' which I wasn't offered. This ruined my day. Then an antique chair was broken. Pictures and signed docs from ramshaw staff.... Now they don't answer my calls and have not replied to emails. Do not use.
