Love mooching around this garden centre, only drawback today was we arrived around 4.15 and then was told it closes at 5pm. We were a little shocked as now the lighter nights are here people tend to stay out longer and plan their summer garden. However now we know we just have to plan our trips a little earlier, not sure how people that work would get here in the week, we remembered garden centres being open until 8 pm, I suppose gone are those days..
I love coming here. Lots to browse frome especially if you are looking for certain plants, stock is always available and staff are always happy to help you take get larger items to the till. Parking is ample too. Garden pots are always a favourite for me as they often have sales. From buying shoes, furniture, gifts, house plants, garden tools it's a few hours day out or a brunch or lunch. We have been in the cafe, dog friendly in sectioned off area we had a cibatta it was ok, hot meals coming out looked nice. The staff are super helpful, today we asked for help and a charming polite Welsh team member helped us, he also made his self available when we needed advice. Very knowledgeable about what we needed for our plants and made our visit productive and welcoming. Definitely we will return.
Great garden centre with lots of smaller businesses inside. Cafe is first class and can't fault it, which always has different offers on. The fish shop inside is perfect for looking around or buying, The staff there have excellent knowledge about the fish and are very happy to chat.
Good variety of plants, little on the expensive side. Wide range of other shopping areas to browse. Spent a wet bank holiday here and enjoyed it. Cafe was good and there is a play area for children
I come to the garden centre a lot, it's one of the best accessible places for me to get around. Completely wheelchair accessible with a disabled access toilet too. The cafe has a great menu. A good variety of food choices. Food is always spot on, pipping hot and delicious. And I can't say I ever leave without finding something to take home, whether it's plants, homeware, food, clothes or shoes. Staff are also every warm and polite.
Always loved the carvery but sadly gone downhill. Such a shame. Not many having it whereas usually there's a queue. Husband paid forv2 meats. Was only given two potatoes with staff saying they were short. Notbour problem. Plates ridiculously small. Considering it takes an hour for us to get there. Not worth it. Need to look at bybrook barn and the lay out and selection of choice in the sales stuff. Boring all garden furniture.
Very disappointed with with how the store is looking more of a mess every time I go there. Yesterday there were only a handful of Geraniums and a lot of the plant benches weren't fully stocked. When I asked about Ranculus I was told "I dont think we've got any". Don't think doesn't make for customer satisfaction. The inside silk flowers section used to be stunning, however, it's now very disappointing and seems to be all over the place. Got Geraniums at Homebase.
Love this place, such a variety of items and they allow dogs. They've got all the gardening stuff you could want but also have gifts and cards, toys, food, pet stuff, and more. The little cafe inside is really nice, there's a section you can sit down with your dog.
We came here to look at the Aquatic centre. WOW! The best around! The knowledge of the staff was extensive, the fish options were huge and fairly priced.
I love browsing here. Quite expensive but probably on a par with other garden centres. I love looking in the other outlet spaces that are there too as well as visiting the fish which is just as entertaining as going to a sea life centre!
