We were moved by Ralphs back in September 2015. The move was not an easy one from a old barn to an old cottage with small doors. The guys at Ralphs were total gentlemen and never once moaned even though the job went from early Sunday morning to around 7pm. They were brilliant and i cannot recommend them highly enough!

A really excellent service provided by Ralphs Removals. On time and extremely careful with my belongings. I was condensing a 3 bed house into a 1 bed appartment with lots of stairs to negotiate, and a very large sofa which Ed & co placed in the corner of the lounge with seamless effort! Well done guys! I have no hesitation in recommending them to others looking for a friendly, reliable and hassle free moving day.

We used this company because they were local and not the cheapest.

Unfortunately, the clutch failed on the delivery van, with all our household items inside - this could happen to any firm.  

The upshot of this was that the removal van turned up to our new home on the back of a breakdown  truck.  The onus was then placed on unloading our worldly goods as quickly as possible because the breakdown truck charged  waiting time.  As a result, boxes and furniture were put anywhere they could go.  My wife was pregnant and we had a toddler, it  took us weeks to recover from this.  

When we advised that our fridge and a vase had been damaged, we were passed some forms and told to deal with an insurance company.  After 18 months, we finally had to put in  a complaint against the loss adjusters, in order to provide an answer.  They finally answered that the insurance that Ralphs  removals had sold us was minimal - a maximum of £40 per item.  And with the excess, the matter should never have been passd to them.  

A bunch of flowers and acknowledgement of poor service at the time would have gone a long way..
