The food was very good and worthy of 5 stars but the less than average service drags it down. No real greeting on arrival, we weren’t shown to our table and given menus, instead our table was pointed out to us from a distance. Waited 10 minutes for a server to ask if we wanted drinks. The drinks took another 6 or 7 minutes to arrive and they arrived separately. At no point during the meal did anyone ask if the food was ok and we had to find someone to get fresh drinks as our glasses sat empty for 7 or 8 minutes. We got the bill and after waiting sometime, we ended up going to the bar to pay. Again, no one asked if we enjoyed the meal. The server just said ‘tap here’ referring to the card machine and we left. I had booked the table 3 weeks in advance, yet we felt like we were an inconvenience to a busy restaurant. The main reason I’m so frustrated is that the restaurant had the audacity to add 10% service charge to the bill. It’s a real shame because the chefs produce excellent food but the service leaves a bad taste!
I have been coming to Rajdoot for years. The food is delicious, I recommend the Butter chicken and the Tandoori tiger prawn masala. Had excellent service by Amin today.Recommended dishesPoppadoms

This place provides the wonderful service. I have been twice with my friends. Had warm welcome by the staff, food was served quick. I would say one of the best place around this area.

Ordered via telephone direct with restaurant. Unfortunately the food was barely warm on arrival. The king prawn korma barely had any prawns and was swamped in a watery korma sauce. The keema naan barely had any meat in .
Ordered chicken jalfrezi paid for extra prawns which they omitted to add. Chicken was chewy and sinewy. Rang to complain and was offered free prawns next time or I could go and collect another. Not impressed and will not be returning
I have been going to this restaurant over 30 years Today I received Paneer Manchurian with hair wrapped round the batter Restaurant did not want to know as I ordered from Uber eventhough they do the delivery! Disappointed with this restaurant & the customer service
