First time visit for me and partner and we were very impressed. Food was tasty and didn't have to wait long at all for the food to be brought out. However it was very quiet which could contribute towards that. The time between courses was very short- as soon as we'd finished our starters our mains were brought straight out.  Waiter we had was lovely and attentive.  Very clean where we were eating, and although simple, nice decor inside.  One of the downsides were the toilets. Ladies door on one of the toilets was very stiff and hard to shut properly and open. Mens room there was no handle to main entrance.  Overall experience was very positive and we will be going back. Would definitely recommend to others.

Ordered nearly 60 pound of food got the food delivered dished up and oh my god it was disgusting to much salt and chicken tikka was horrid phoned up straight away said the manager would ring back last night no call. Phoned tonight and I asked  for refund and guess what? He said no. The food is still bagged up couldn't eat any of it I have spent over the past few weeks lots of money so you would have thought they would give me a full refund they have definitely lost a good customer never again

I was very disappointed by this delivery tonight. 2/10 dishes were ok but the rest either had far too much oil in them, or they were barely half filled in their containers. The delivery was over an hour late and when I tried calling the restaurant, the phone line was "busy" for 45 minutes - I suspect the phone line had been turned off. I had to use the Just Eat app to get a delivery update and I believe our meal was only just cooked at that point as the food wasn't stone cold or dried out on arrival. There's been no offer of a refund or voucher. What made the customer service worse was the fact the delivery driver refused to deliver to my door. He smirked and said "I'm making the most of not being able to deliver to people's doors now" whilst standing only 1 metre away from me. I will not be using this restaurant again.

This place is awful. The delivery too over 1 hour 30 mins. The food not only looked absolutely disgusting but it taste disgusting. Worst curry I have ever had. When I called up to complain and ask for a refund so I could order from somewhere else. the manager had informed me that the food was microved from the night before and was sorry that it was cold but he couldn’t refund me. When I mentioned he would be getting a bad review he then gave me abuse down the phone. I wouldn’t advise going here. Waste of £30! Over priced.

2 stars as a reasonable gesture for discount off a meal. But at the same time we paid for a meal which you couldn't eat. Any good chef knows never to serve uncooked dough and call it a naan. If it wasn't manageable it was best not to serve a large group. As designated driver, was also disappointed to pay premium rates for coke when it came out of a bottle I could have got for 29p at Tesco.

Absolutely gorgeous food with lovely and attentive staff. They accepted our tastecard and gave us the 2 for 1 discount on our mains. 4 of us ate here for £100 and that stuffed us full! Honestly would eat here again in a heartbeat.

First time visit for myself and husband. After reading some earlier reviews I was a little apprehensive but I have to say you cannot believe everything that is written. We had a really delicious meal, the service was excellent, the restaurant spotless & comfortable, friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and will visit again when next in Canterbury. Poor unorganized service.  Was part of a large booking that they said they could handle but clearly had bitten off more than they could chew. Speaking of chew, our naan was undercooked and most came out plain and not as ordered.  Other tables and takeaway orders that came after us were served before.  There did not seem to be an effective coordination by floor staff. And the excuses for their failure to plan and cooperate mounted up like the pangs of hunger I felt in my starved body.  Oh how I lamented how I was last to receive my food! Nearly 1hr 45mins after ordering.  Raj must think twice before taking on a table that their staff failed to serve well. I say this as a chef too. Large bookings should face a priority due to their nature.  Ultimately you let yourselves down, dishonoured your family, and lost a lot of money  you should have earned with proper service

Ordered from here ask for garlic bread but end up with plan bread and they where small not very big and did not taste very nice had black charcoal on the bread as well. and i ask for egg rice with was ok but the pilau rice we ordered didn't even look very pilau  was very disappointed with the food wast of money was not even good size portions last time I order from here again.

Horrific experience - avoid at all costs.  The food never delivered, after 4 different calls the owner lied to us on multiple occasions creating up scenarios on why the food hadn’t been delivered, one of them including the driver has been “pulled over by the police”. After hours of calling back we never heard back from them, never received the food or the money back. Horrendous, rude and disgusting service.
