Did my Wedding Reception/Dinner here. The owner was very sweet and generous. All our things from decor to food to drinks were taken care for by the management well. The staff was really nice. It was a fun night and they let us play our own music as well on speakers to enjoy the vibe. Best place for the party/food.
We had a blast time. Food was great, staff members are amazing and friendly. They also sell traditional Indian sweets which we bought some to take home to celebrate the new year!!! The place looks beautiful inside and well designed. Highly recommended!Food: 5/5
I have only written 7 google reviews in my life and all of them are 5 star. I never reviewed a place where I did not like the food thinking every place deserves a second chance and may be second time they’ll make up for it but I had to give a one star review to this place because even on their second chance they didn’t take it as a second chance to correct their mistake rather thought they can just fool the customer. So here’s what happened: I ordered two sets of chole bhature from this restaurant through uber eats. When my order arrived I saw bhature were burnt but main issue was the chole had EXTENSIVE amount of salt. We couldn’t even my husband who eats a lot more salt than me couldn’t take second bite eat it at all after taking first bite. I called them immediately and they said bring all the food back we will remake it. So we took it back defeats the whole purpose of ordering food delivery through uber thought. She took the food to the kitchen and brought the package back in few minutes. We got home and I opened and saw that they gave us watered down chole. I mean they literally just took the same food put water to reduce the amount of salt and just gave it back. I still tried it but it was so terrible tasting of course because they watered it down that we couldn’t eat it. It was the very first time in my house ever that we had to throw out food in compost it was so bad. I am attaching two pictures for reference. You can clearly see the thickness of the chole in first picture and how in second picture it’s just watered down. Wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. Note: uber eats did refund me the amount that was charged for chole bhature. So overall I paid about $8 and I still had to go to the restaurant to get the food that we couldn’t even eat and had to cook maggi afterwards.
The food here was delicious!! Absolutely loved it. I was craving chole bhature and they did not disappoint. The coffee was delicious, highly recommend this spot when visiting London, Ontario.Food: 5/5
This is my honest experience. My friend and I had Lamb and Mutton Biriyani today. It was scrumptious and the mint chutney was awesome too. I like the ambiance. When it comes to service, the girl was so nice, polite and respectful. The restaurant is clean and peaceful. I talked to the management during my last visit when we tried their 50-cent Samosa worth every penny which is commendable. I love their hospitality and will visit again soon.
WORST FOOD, WORST FOOD, WORST FOOD ordered mutter paneer. It had almost half an inch of layer of oil. Spent 15 mins separating oil from the gravy. It was too late or else i wouldve gone back for a refund. Service staff was fine but train your kitchen staff better or close the freaking business. Stop selling garbage to people or else you will be reported.
Worst samosas ever had. if there was an option to rare zero, i would have rated zero. Entirely black . Not changing oil. Stale.
I got takeout for a very first time from Taj Mahal. Their Butter Chicken was tasty, buttery and just melt in my mouth. The Fish Curry was also good. Their Naan, especially Garlic Naan was my favourite. First time I tried some desserts too, maybe a little too sweet but still good in overall. Will come back to try more different dishes.
I don't know why there are so many negative reviews for this place. We ordered multiple things and everything was absolutely delicious. The food, the service and the ambience everything was outstanding. Definitely going to be one of my go-tos for authentic Indian food. I have shared some pictures of the two thalis we ordered.
Tried their buffet today. The food was just ok. Regarding the Main course, Goat Curry was really nice. Butter chicken was not upto the mark. Tandoori chicken was horrible Can’t feel any kind of masalas in that. We ordered butter naan, Some of the Naan were freshly prepared and some were not fresh. Salads were ok. Expected some authentic Indian sweets as dessert but got some Tim bits as well as some muffins. Customer service was really good. Although an average food experience.
