This is a great place to enjoy the outdoors. Well marked and surfaced walks, Joe's Pond provides bird watching hide. Lovely little cafe at good prices. Parking available with just donation to Durham Wildlife. Worth a visit.
Very good ,well laid out and very well kept,nice walks and plenty of wildlife

Always love taking my toddler for a run around the reserve. People out walking ar always so lovely! The cafe staff are amazing people.
Lovely walk, well signposted along routes. Several different levels of walks and goods access for wheelchair users and pushchairs
Lovely place for a walk. Takeaway tea,coffee etc available and toilets
Lovely public walkways. Good for kids to see wildlife. Make sure you walk up the forest path as it's a beautiful part of the reserve. Would highly recommend.
