Somehow managed to mess up our order of 5 items and gave us chips instead of chow mein
This was the first time we have been, I was impressed with how fast our order was made. When we got home and started to eat, I was surprised with the quality of the food and the size garlic and chilli dri-fried prawns of one of the portions. Why have I not been there before now!!!!.
We've just had our first takeaway from here and wow we were very impressed. From the lovely friendly gentleman who took our order to the actual meal itself. Highly recommend. Everything was flavoursome and as you'd want it. Nice and crispy, prawn crackers, spring rolls and banana fritters. Main meals were very yummy. Will definitely order from here again! 5* The only thing I'd change is the ability to pay by card rather than cash as we try not to handle cash or keep it in the house.
Large portion so more expensive than it was when Yip was there. Didn't really need to increase size, as they are enough for 2 people now but I don't like what my husband has. Parking: Yes parking outside. Dietary restrictions: Make my meals without onions with no problem.
Not a recommended takeaway. Very disappointed with the food. The owners grandson is a bad influence. He got sacked when he worked for Argos.
Food was good but had to wait almost an hour longer when I went to collect my order having been told it would be ready in 40 minutes. I think this was because it was New Year's Eve but sitting waiting for so long was unacceptable.
Always fresh, hot and nice food! Very friendly service and lots to choose from menu : Shame that they don’t have deliveries, but it’s still worth to collect food as it’s really tasty :
one of the worst Chinese take aways I have ever been to. We ordered for 6 and none of the meals were edible. Chicken balls looked like that had been cooked several times, chicken and beef pieces tasted like rubber, and noodles were like elastic bands. Will never be going here again. I highly recommend that you stay away.
3rd time I have had a poor meal from here..will not risk another..under new management ??.....this used to be the best Chinese Takeaway locally...always were good value & good quality....really gone downhill, even my cat turned his nose up at the left overs. What a shame
