Review of The Railway Tavern, Bexley Village. Me and wife went there for the first time, on a Sunday night in March 2022 - having heard they had karaoke. Arrived about 7.30 and it wasn't very busy so we got high chairs at the bar. DJ Duncan was already set up on a stage in the corner; he does a regular Sunday night session until 11pm. It's a bright, nicely laid out pub on the High Street, unsurprisingly round the corner from Bexley Rail Station and handy for buses including the 229. By 8.30 it was busy and by 9 it was HEAVING, mostly with the late 20's crowd but a fair few coffin dodgers like us! and one or two harmless weirdies. The hard working barmaids were run ragged. Great music and singers mostly, but, well, it is karaoke!. Drink prices reasonable; £10 for a single Bacardi, a bottle of coke and a pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord which was excellent!. A great night out. Recommended.
Needed a bit off help this evening, the woman behind the bar is absolutely rude and helpless. I have never met such rude woman in my life, feel sorry to her to have such bad personality.
The Railway Tavern is a traditional no frills pub with friendly bar staff and the usual range of beer and spirits.

The Railway Tavern definitely feels like an old fashioned pub, in the middle of Bexley. Small, in a comfortable way, although there's not much seating. Lots of events, and karaoke night sounds like it would be great fun, as well as the many gigs that are often advertised.

Lovely pub visited Fri evening. Quite busy and with a great atmosphere of people enjoying themselves. So impressed with the bar staff, because there was many, so professional and I was served each time unbelievable quick. Great service. Live band made a great evening.
My fiend and I went to this pub in September absolutely loved it very friendly staff were fantastic no trouble. Live bands on a weekend would definitely I rely recommend this place
