Lovely little station in Dronfield. Only downside is that when its a bit chilly there's nowhere to get warm! It would be nice for little heaters to be in the shelters.
For a long time it wasn't even recognised as a station, even though trains had been stopping for years. Who Knew?
It's a lovely station but if in a wheelchair getting from one platform to the other one is a but of a problem without the use of the "Wooden bridge ramp". The route is from the south bound side is, out of the station towards the wooden bridge and toilet closed then cross over the road and carry on that side until you get to the crossing, cross back and up the hill over the railway line back in to the station via the ramp/footpath.
Close to shops, small station as you'd expect from a local style transport link. Two platforms, accessed via a bridge. Unmanned, with no facilities bar a shelter which would be inadequate if busy during peak times, and an automated ticket machine.

No more free parking. Disgraceful set up now. Expected to pay for a car park with no lights so even if you want to park you can't see to pay!! Now all the roads are more congested by people who used to use the car park.
Lovely place to live great pubs and restaurants
Wonderful , popular station, very well kept too! Let's have more trains stopping at Dronfield!
Great country station, unfortunately nowhere to buy tickets and no toilets.
No different to other train stations of similar usage.
