Very well kept station clean and tidy. Trains nearly on time which makes a change.
Lostwithiel Station seems to be in the valley of the river Fowey rhymes with Joy. In fact a rail bridge a few seconds after departure west reveals the river is quite substantial at this point in its course to the sea.
Lostwithiel is a really historic town with many interesting and varied independent shops.
Good place to visit the town and the castle shops are welcoming good food in the pubs and restaurants good Chinese takeaway
Nice little station. Plenty of boards and places to get information. Tickets sold on the trains so there is no ticket office. Village is 5 mins stroll away.
We walked around Lostwithiel and sat lo at the ancient bridge by the river. Very relaxing
Cutest town ever. Feels like a fary tale. Fish n chips seating by the river... Just relaxing.
