One of the best pubs in Fairford. Visited all of them, and The Railway Inn is certainly my favourite. Good food, great atmosphere. I have visited here twice so far, and both times it has been very good! The only criticism is the lack of vegetarian food. If you are vegan you have no chance. The vegetarian option is macaroni cheese, or macaroni cheese balls for a starter. I personally feel they could easily make a burger at least. Beyond Burger do some excellent patties, for example. Though don't get me wrong, the macaroni cheese is brilliant, there's just so many times I can have the same thing.
Wow what a fantastic roast beef dinner I just eaten. I will even go as far to say it's one of the best roast beef dinners I ever had, and I've had lots. The veg had a crunch, the beef melted in your mouth, the roast potatoes were crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside, home made Yorkshire pud, roast carrot and parsnip cooked to perfection and the mashed Swede and carrots was light and buttery, yummy I will definitely come back and I will definitely recommend if you like your roast dinners like this.
Lovely village pub, very nice service, friendly staff. Didn't realise you could eat, or would have put five stars. Parking may be tight on a busy day. Definitely will go again.

Outstanding friendly staff who have great banter with their guests. A wide range of drinks at great cotswold prices. Warm and friendly inside and out with the added additions of patio heaters! Toilets lovely and clean plus very covid friendly! Top notch!
Great food and atmosphere
The most amazing service - the tall blonde lady sorry didn’t get a name was ridiculously accommodating for a Sunday roast, best service ever! Really delicious roast with great roast potatoes. Thank you!
Great service! Food good. Nice small local pub. Close to nice walks by the river.
6 of us visited for dinner. Very welcoming and friendly place. Good Beer and cider selection. A few changes to menu including delicious tapas options. Staff knowledgeable and helpful. We all left very full and extremely happy. Definitely returning very soon.
