What a lovely place to eat or drink, Staff were very courteous + friendly & smiled, good to see team enjoying themselves, lovely decor - clean and tidy venue - loved the open plan kitchen / cooking area, was made to feel welcome and enjoyed my visit - beer garden is also very nice I'd highly recommend you visit - wide range of drinks and food on offer at reasonable prices - Toilets also very clean and fresh

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff are also really friendly...  you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority! Food is pretty good and a special mention to Jess, as she went above and beyond to ensure my daughter had plenty of choice despite dietry requirements - I could not recommend this place enough, especially for their prices it’s 100% worth it. We will definitely be returning!

Tasteful interior. Delicious array of food & liquid refreshments. Conveniently situated approximately a minute away from railway station.

The bartender Jess, and the other two at the bar showed amazing interpersonal skills and were amazing at informing me and my friend of the deals available. The pours were excellent, and the service was quick and efficient. Recommend 10/10 xxx

My favourite nostalgic local hideout had my ups and downs here, staff and landlord always fantastic, chefs are great and always present a homely feel, if I'd to visit with a friend I'd always take them down the tracks to the railway

Had Sunday roast there last weekend. The food was excellent, really tasty. We all had the Pork roast. Service was quick too. We'll be back

Walked in off the street, straight to the bar and the staff were there immediately. Ordered a mixed grill and a pint. Food which was substantial was on the table within 7 minutes. The guy who served me was ace. He floated around the all tables checking all ok but not in a in your face way.

Just moved back to penarth and I've been eating here twice a day, fantastic food I can't fault it, service from Jess, Olly and Matt is exceptional! Would recommend highly to anyone who wants cheap drinks and food along with great friendly bar staff!

I am writing on behalf of Robert Davies and Towie his guide dog.they have always  been very helpful to him, making sure he always has a table. Left water for Towie and generally make sure he is comfortable.  Thank you.

The lady was heartwarming. Jess poured me and my mate some lovely and refreshing pints. Highly recommend.
