I have used this Chinese Take Away a few times and received the takeaway last night costing €40… what a waste! I have to say this was one of the worst Chinese takeaways I have had. Chicken was like rubber, curry sauce was thick greasy and fat texture, spring roll was a disgrace. All went in the bin. I will never order again
Got food for a large party. Its was absolutely delicious. Everyone commented on how nice it was. It was delivered hot and on time. Highly recommend
This was the first Chinese takeaway I tasted as a child Sunday night treat and every other takeaway pales in comparison. Just drove a 40 minute round trip to confirm my belief that this is the best chines takeaway in the country! No other Chinese comes close to this. The large spring roll is the best spring roll I have ever had, proper taste of bean sprouts and crispy coating. I’m glad I don’t live in Raheny anymore cause if I did, I would be in this place multiple times a week. Now I’m off to tackle the second half of this spring roll.
I ordered special priderice and i only get 3 pieces of prawns no meat small pieces of thin slice chicken. I considered it rice put on salt and thats it. You ask for a fork and the lady is very rude.
Never again. We have been ordering from Raheny Chinese for nearly 20 years. Things haven't been right for a while now, we have given them the benefit of doubt a couple of times. We have received reheats a couple of times, and on Saturday night I ordered Singapore noodles. It was meant to contain shrimp and ham. NO shrimp. It was poisoned with curry powder and non edible. Sooo dry. Bye Bye Raheny chinese.
The curry sauce is Great, always super hot temperature and goes well with anything. I really like it with chicken ball. The changed the chicken balls recently to More battered ones. Dunno how I feel about that but dunked in the sweet nectar of the divine curry sauce more than makes up for it. Aw that is divine
Made an order & was waiting 1 hour and 50 minutes, called up and got no answer. Eventually Got through and manager wasn’t one bit apologetic, didn’t care. Had to cancel after waiting nearly two hours. Terrible service!
Waited an hour for a order that was phoned in for collection. Served walk ins and left all collections waiting. Food is sub par. When we finally got it home. Satay skewers had a single piece of chicken on each stick, was a chicken nugget on a stick! Part of order missing. Rang and complained and they only offered a free portion of the skewers next time. Won't be a next time won't be using them again.
The service is usually pretty fast and the food is good. I'm docking a star bc I got food poisoning but again, the food was really good so I would probably order it again.
I had the unfortunate experience if eating from here last night. We ordered the Chow mein, curry, chicken wings. The chow mein had no taste, the onions in it didn't even have a taste. The chicken curry had no taste, we had to add chili flakes and salt I know, adding salt to a take away. The wings were soggy and bland, the onions again had no taste which is an achievement, I've never tasted fully flavourless onions and take it from me they are not nice. Please avoid this place, we need higher quality take aways.
