Nice place and nice food. But I have to add this as well. Once we had finished and asked for the bill, one of the staff took a few of the plates away but a ladies walked over and put napkins and cutlery on the table before it was cleared and while we were sitting and waiting for the bill it arrive. I would say it was very rude and unprofessional and an instant 1 star review. It's Easter Sunday and I believe in second chances, so will leave a 4 star review, as that was the experience up to that point. I hope they improve that part of the business.
Arrived for a 7.30pm booking - 5 people. Seated by 7.35 & menus provided. All downhill from there - Waited ages to be asked re drinks order. Drinks arrived 8.15pm. Had to request water for table again. Shared starter arrived 8.45. Had to request 5 forks as we only had a knife each. Main course arrived approx 9.15. One main sent back ox cheek - as tough as old boots although mine was perfect. Had to ask for dessert menus to be told kitchen closed at 9.30 so nothing hot available. Shocking service!! Offered coffee on the house as an apology - not good enough. Most of the food was tasty hence 2 stars & not 1
We got a voucher as a gift and was using it today. We got seated and given menu's. Perused through the menu for our meal choice, picked what we wanted and when the waitress came over for our order. She then gave us a separate one because of the voucher The pizza Milano was amazing and my only criticism would be that they would ask me if I wanted it cut because by golly the table shook as I cut it The Italian lager was so nice I had another one As with the photo I was stuffed The waitresses were very nice and very attentive I would definitely recommend Raffaelle's.
Lovely family lunch prior to departure back home, food was delicious in all dishes, flavourful, simple, tasty. Thanks. Staff were helpful and friendly, organisation was efficient and place was clean and tidy
Lovely late lunch at Rafaelles on 8 October for my birthday. Girl who served us was very nice, really attentive. Food was great. Had the pate to start, huge portion, and Penne pasta with steak through it. Was really delicious. Have been a few times and is one of the best places to go in Bearsden for a nice lunch.
Lovely 2 course lunch with Hubby and Mum 92yrs old Hubby and mum had fish n chips in panko breadcrumbs, hubby's first visit here, said it was so fresh ,light and very tasty . I had the mussels with spaghetti in the tomato sauce , couldn't finish dessert so boxed and took home . Service brilliant, very polite and friendly and always treat my mum wonderfully. Recommended for a wee Sat lunch
The restaurant was nice but very cold, the Waitress lovely but the food average and presentation was poor. I would maybe go back to give it a second chance.Food: 3/5
My step daughter age 21 and her grandparents age 80 went along for a meal then other night and when my SD ordered a cocktail she was refused due to her age! When she produced her Passport she was told that you need to be 25 to drink on the premises. Rules are rules and we respect them however, we won’t be back and I would suggest if your with anyone under 25 do not head here for a night out. Go somewhere that the legal age of 18 is allowed
Eat in on Friday night. Was about 75% full. Food was 4 star, service was 2 star. There is a problem with how drinks are poured. We asked for water 5 times throughout the dinner. Only to be met with 5 glasses of water near the end of the meal :-
Such a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Food was delicious. Wait staff were polite, professional and entertaining. Cannot wait to visit again soon.
