If you could give zero stars then I would have! Initially tried calling for 3 hours to eventually get through to be told the phone lines were down. No appointments available so submitted an econsult - to be fair I had a swift response advising me to call the the surgery to make an appointment. So I called and was told the next available appointment to make was the 12th December just over a fortnight away - what good is that with a chest and ear infection. If i wanted an appointment the following day i would have to call at 8am. So the following day I called at 8am to make a same day appointment, to be told that I would have to go to llandaf north medical centre. What exactly has happened at radyr medical centre?? Why is the service so poor??? Shocking to say the least
Great modern Practice with a great team. Unlike many GP surgeries, this one has always gone the extra mile to see patients, especially in urgent cases. When I hear of patients experiences in some other Practices I count myself lucky to be a patient registered at Radyr Medical Centre
I joined this practice 6 months ago maybe a little longer. The outstanding service this practice has is beyond my previous experience. After covid it was difficult to get an appointment but these guys saw me straight away, I was admitted to hospital and they sorted my illness with the utmost respect and was so efficient in doing so. Nothing was too much they just wanted to help with my situation and went out of their way to do so. Very professional and responsive. By far the best GP surgery I have ever been registered with
I’ve been a patient here for 2 years now and what a breath of fresh air. Appointments are rarely an issue to obtain same day in emergencies , receptionist completely defy the usual stereotype and are really helpful. Repeat Prescriptions are usually dealt with same day. Drs & nurses are amazing, had a minor surgical procedure carried out there today which usually requires a hospital visit but they went above and beyond an made my life as a busy mum 3 days before Christmas so much easier.
