Supply your own thali plates for a truly wonderful dining experience at home see photo. I bought 1 X thali and a few extras samosas and butteta wada and managed to get 2 X as pictured for under £7!! Now, anyone who can find me better value than that, better speak up! The food is tasty, good sized portions and not too spicy. Not only do you get plenty of food but the menu changes slightly every day. It had been well over a year since my last thali and I had forgotten how good they can be! Samosas are among the best in Leicester too. Staff are always friendly and speak English as well as Gujarati etc. So don't be afraid... Just pop by and go for it! Highly recommended.. you have almost nothing to lose at this price! Finger lickin' good!
We ordered food from Radha sweet mart and caterers for a family event recently 60+ people and the food was amazing! The food was freshly made and lots of people commented on it and asked where it was from. I enjoyed the food so much I ended up eating the leftovers over the next two days. Highly recommend!
The place is clean and well maintained, however, it has some negative aspects in terms of customer service. Three years ago the staff were very friendly but lately I would rate the customer service as one star. Whenever I visit the place now, the staff are not friendly at all and it seems as if they are doing a favour by serving me and act as if they are giving me snacks for free. It's honestly ridiculous. And some snacks come with the chutney but once they lied saying it never came with it. I rather starve but not visit this place ever again. I will recommend people to visit other places and spend their money wisely whereby they can get some appropriate customer service.
Went here to buy some Indian treats samosa, bhajis etc the products here are quite tasty but I have to say I have had better from other stores selling similar or the same products which are better tasting and more flavoursome. Reason for my 3 stars is this store is more pricier than others and other stores tend to provide you with sauces and dips to cover the amount of products you purchase. Here I spent over £20 just on fried snacks and was offered 2 very small pots of chutneys, on asking for more the lady owner tried charging me £2 a pot. Extortionate when comparing to any other store across Leicester and I do visit a lot of these to enjoy my favourite foods. Something Radhas need to review for return custom is pricing.
If you want to try a nice and full of flavour samosa, go and try then at Radhas Sweet Mart on Melton Road. They are a nice size and the green chutney is really tasty, I will definitely be going back.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality
Amazing value thali from Radha Sweet Mart. All the curries were delicious, the chapatti was soft and fresh and it even came with a sweet bundi and savoury bhajia. Could eat this every day!
This is the second time I have been here for their thali take away vegetarian meals only. At this price 3.50 it does not make any sense cooking the meal yourself as the food quality, taste and quantity is excellent and is more than enough for one person. You get a choice of two saks, choice of rice dish and x4 large freshly prepared chapattis. They also put in small pot of sambhar and sweet dish carrot halva. You are best to order over the phone and collect at the time that suits you. Whilst in the shop there will be other things that you will be tempted with as it looks so good. I will definitely be going there again. Staff are brilliant and the shop is very clean and tidy. For single person or couples it's worth getting your meals from here instead of cooking and wasting your time when you could be enjoying.
Nice place for Indian snacks. A thali is not expensive. Staff provide good service and are helpful so you can ask anything you want to know about indian snacks and sweets. Do enjoy.
Nice reasonably priced food. Only thing I don't like is Sugar or jaggery added in ALL curries and Daal etc dishes as well. It might be due to Gujerati dishes only. But even in South Indian dishes... No consideration for Diabetic people either. WHY??? They turn any dish into A Gujju dish by adding sugar/jaggery No consideration for Diabetics at all
Very Disappointed with Radha sweetmart even though we are related. I ordered 2 Thalis take away.... and I explained I was travelling back to Ipswich. However by the time I had got home nearly all the shaks had gone off only one that was ok was the Butterbeans curry. Never again will I go here. If I could give less stars I would. Sorry Shital fot this review but it was so upsetting to see how badly you provided food. On the plus side the mithai was good. But overall it was not cheap either. Would have been better off going to lidls for theirs curry and rice deal.
