We had our wedding at this venue recently and it was such an incredible time and the body beautiful venue. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. They asked all the right questions beforehand so they didn't need any logistical management on the day by us. What an absolute treat it was. The party went so smoothly and that not go unnoticed. Thank you so much Liz and team. It would not have been such a great day without your hard work, professionalism and understanding. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a festival style/camping wedding!
It is difficult describe how perfect this venue was for our wedding.nMy husband and I found Radford Mill Farm online. We were looking for a venue that was outside, in a beautiful setting, had camping facilities and allowed us the freedom to make the wedding in the way that we wanted. All of this was provided in spades!nWe hosted a festival-style weekend weeding for 200 people at the beginning of July 2023 on The Piggery site, and the whole time went better than we could ever have imagined.nnLiz and Richard were most wonderful hosts. Everything communicated and agreed was very clear, with extras like campfires, more wood-fired showers, extra marquees, different catering options, seating, place settings etc. were available but not pushed, allowing us the space to hone the weekend into exactly what we wanted and what fit our budget.nCommunication was also very clear in terms of what the venue expected of us and what their licensing and noise limits were. As a group of friends, we are loud and music-focused and Radford Mill provided us the place to have the party we all wanted while being clear about where the lines of respectful use were.nnIt is a truly beautiful, special and unique site with a feeling of love and care that absolutely made the wedding.nnThank you again Liz, Richard and all the residents and staff of Radford Mill Farm for making the wedding of the century!
We had a truly fantastic experience hosting our wedding with Radford Mill Farm! It was honestly the best day it could have possibly been and fulfilled all our dreams and more! Liz was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process and really helped us pull it together, whilst leaving us the room to completely decide and plan everything exactly how we wanted it. We didn't want to leave at the end of the weekend! I would thoroughly recommend as a venue for relaxed and festival style outdoor weddings.nnFor us, we wanted an festival style wedding, with camping on site and we wanted to bring up to 200 people and still keep to a budget as much as possible and Radford was a great venue for this. Radford provided us with a marquee, tables, chairs, cutlery, crockey, glassware and they served drinks we bought and paid corkage on as well as running a cash bar, and they also provided a BBQ for the main meal. The food was completely delicious and a lot of it grown on the farm itself, and they catered to an array of dietary requirements. Everyone was really full and satisfied and the price per person was very reasonable.We supplemented this by buying a large quantity of scones for a little afternoon tea, and a big pizza delivery in the evening!nnOne of the best things was that we had plenty of time to set up and pack down which made it so much easier as we were doing everything DIY! Being able to stay until Monday was so helpful and made the pack down much less painful! We had a real full weekend of fun on the farm.nnWe also got our flowers from Frank who is based on the farm and they were just beautiful and a fraction of the price we were quoted from other places, but they were as local as possible which was excellent.nnThe marquee provided is quite a plain unlined white marquee but honestly there's so much you can do to decorate it and put your own mark on it, and it was absolutely perfect for us, and again much cheaper than a marquee company would charge!nnLiz was incredibly helpful and lovely to deal with throughout, we had a lot of questions and she kindly answered them all very speedily! We honestly had a perfectly positive experience with the farm and wouldn't have had our wedding anywhere else. Highly recommend!
We have organised a small festival on Radford Mill Farm in the summer 2023. River Meadow was our love from the first sight. Lovely place for nature loving people.nWe have been planning our festival for a year, and during that time we have received much support from Liz, and our email communication was going very smoothly. The Farm was feeding our guests during our three day event, and the meals were served on time, looking great, and were quite generous.nSome other convenient facilities made our event easier and less challenging to organise: access to electricity, firewood, running water, marquee and equipment hire, compostable toilets, showers, spacious camping and parking fields. We loved the fact, that all our guests were allowed to walk freely around the farm. They were a bit too busy with our extensive festival programme to make the most of it, but it made all of us feel welcome.nWe will be back next year :
Absolutely love staying at Radford Mill Farm. Definitely my favourite events venue. The site is a natural beauty spot. I particularly love the weir which to me is a magical sparkly nature spa! I love that it’s organic back-to-basics camping with a fire pit, plenty of compost toilets, taps & wood fired showers. The farm owners have always been friendly, prompt and accommodating, responsive to queries, requests and feedback. We hope to book more events there in the future!
