I had the most wonderful experience choosing my wedding dress at Rachel Burgess Bridal Boutique in Penarth. Firstly, the dresses are fantastic, whether you want vintage or an original dress (the boutique showcases dresses by several talented Welsh designers), traditional or something a bit different, there are dresses for every taste. Secondly, Rachel's customer care is second to none. Rachel put me at ease, made the experience of choosing my dress fun and relaxed, and made thoughtful suggestions about shoes and accessories. She is a lovely person and genuinely cares about her clients. Rachel Burgess Bridal Boutique is a gem of a dress shop, I can't recommend it or Rachel highly enough.

Buying my wedding dress from the Boutique was one of the best decisions I made whilst planning our wedding! From the moment I walked through the door I knew it the place I would find my dress. Rachel has an amazing customer service that is helpful, makes you feel special and not pushy but able to get you to try things you might not have considered before. I love the range of dresses and the fact they are designed and made in Wales. They are beautiful and perfect if you are looking something different. The best thing for me was having it tailored made for me and working with my designer throughout the process. I would recommend the Boutique to anyone, a fantastic experience.

This is a wonderful Boutique, full of beautiful and unique dresses. Rachel makes you feel incredibly special and has a great eye when picking dresses and accessories. I had a fabulous time during my appointments, relaxed and fun. The dress I choose was so gorgeous and most importantly made me feel like me! Got so many compliments on the day. I would highly recommend this place, especially if you are looking for something a bit different.

There aren't enough words to describe how amazing my experience with Rachel was, it was like a dream fairy tale from start to finish. I wanted something a little different, I had seen too much fishtail and diamante and whist they're lovely it just didn't feel like me. Rachel helped me find the dress and every single appointment and fitting felt like an experience with a really special friend. I've been married 6 months now, and I regularly wish I could do the dress experience again - but exactly the same with Rachel because it was so special. My dress was everything I wanted it to be and more, and my 15 year old daughter already has her eyes on it for her future wedding!

Rachel is fabulous. Her personal attention from start to finish was first class. I wanted a unique look, and chose a beautiful culotte outfit which looked great, was a little unusual, suited my personality, and made me feel very special. Thoroughly recommend both Rachel and her beautiful boutique. I wanted to shop local and wear an outfit made by a Welsh designer. So happy I called in to see her. It was love at first sight!
