Said our kitchen would be built beforehand then installed in 5 days already painted. It took 53 days! Almost none of the units were built before and many were built on site. We provided plans and had multiple site visits for Rob to measure up. Constant lies and excuses, he clearly took on too many jobs and was often at those jobs when he told us he was working at home on our kitchen. We even saw evidence of this when new finished projects went up on the Facebook page. The delays with the units forced us into a situation where we had to accept a critical mistake on Rob’s behalf where the units surrounding the oven were off; so now we have an off-centre oven and the wall lights are out of balance, which we’ll have to live with. We couldn’t cancel the work surface fitters a second time or we’d incur cancellation charges and also throw all the other trades out which would have caused until delays (at the time we had no idea he would take so long) Many of the doors have cracks in the joins. He came back multiple times to fix but they’ve reappeared again now. We lost 4 weekends (2 of them lovely sunny weekends) where we had to wait in to see if Rob would show up to get work done. We had no choice or it would cause further delays. He turned up at random times, often in the afternoon and then was gone by 4:30 so we couldn’t even plan around him. The whole thing was a nightmare experience and we were stuck with the situation because we’d paid 50% upfront. The workmanship is Ok apart from the mistakes mentioned already.
