Quorn Football Club is an English football club based in the village of Quorn, near Loughborough, Leicestershire, currently playing in the.HistoryThe club was founded in 1924 by attendees of the local Wesleyan Chapel and accordingly was named Quorn Methodists F.C., changing its name in 1952. In 1937 the club joined the Leicestershire Senior League. Immediately after World War II they played in the Central Division, and then from 1948 in Division 2 after a league re-organisation. Quorn won this division in 1950 and then followed up by winning the first division the following season.Over the next fifty years the club moved up and down between the divisions on four separate occasions, finally cementing their place in the renamed Premier Division in the late 1990s, before claiming the league title, and with it promotion to the Midland Alliance in 2001.In 2003 the club was the only one at its level to sell a player to a Football League team, when Luke Varney moved to Crewe Alexandra for £50,000. Dion Dublin also once played for the club.In the 2006–07 season they finished 3rd in the Midland Alliance and, due to the expansion of the Northern Premier League First Division into two regional divisions, were therefore accepted into the Northern Premier League Division One South. In May 2007 the club received a £500,000 windfall after Luke Varney's £2,000,000 move from Crewe to Charlton Athletic.

Very good facilities for the players and most supporters. Unfortunately there’s no disabled parking. And the disabled access and toilets were locked up. Which was a little disappointing.
Watched Ashby Ivanhoe v Newark and Sherwood in the United Counties league North. Quorn must have made an agreement as Ashby s games kept getting postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. Anyway good game, Newark won 2-1. £7 to watch an entertaining game only thing that marred the experience was the bit of trouble at the end after the final whistle . Yes the couple of Newark fans were a bit gobby but there was no need for that lad to walk right round the pitch from the opposite end of the ground to antagonise things causing a massive melee between both teams and a few fans.
Great venue place for a party which is the only good point about the place. the staff behind the bar the mother and daughter so I presume based on the sizes of the monstrosity’s which I could only describe as 2 absolute mammoths were extremely rude when serving drinks saying we had not finished that one before we could purchase another one. They both want sacking and sending back to the job centre where the owners must have found them. Faces like slapped arses while serving and observing, it was absolutely dreadful they should be sent away to a zoo where they both belong. Nothing but oxygen wasters. Do not book for a venue at all costs.
Lovely ground and set up but the playing surface even though a 3g surface didn't look like it gave an even bounce. An average game but plenty of effort and i hope the Quorn fc player who was carried off makes a quick recovery and the injury isn't too serious. Food was good too.
Good place with good priced drinks and food at the bar.
Great facility, was here to watch Leicester City Women vs Manchester United ladies. Good set up and decent food for the game
We are the band that performed on 27th May. Lovely club, very friendly staff too, made you feel very welcome. Highly recommend going to this place. Great atmosphere too.
Nice place was just right for the purpose. We help a wake for our dear departed nephew . It was big enough to containe all of us
This is one of the better grounds at this level of men's football. From a football perspective, there is covered full width stand behind one of goals and a full length seated and covered stand alone one side. The pitch seems to be a good quality 3G type, without excessive bounce that some 3G pitches tend to suffer from. The hospitality seems to offer a large indoor bar and TV area, again better and bigger than most at this level. Not sampled, so I cannot say more. The car park is a little on the small side and late arrivals can hinder the leaving of the early arrivals. However, if you have to leave on time, there is plenty of space on the road, outside the ground. I attended a ladies FA cup game against national and larger opposition. They managed to get a win, which obviously pleased the locals. If you have read this far, I thank you and I urge you to thank them by going to their next home game. You will not be disappointed with their facilities. I only hope that the team performs for you too.
Under 13 friendly. After a drive from kettering the facilities were spot on, toilets warm and clean, viewing and pitch was great. Kettering Town could do with a ground like this. Prefer grass but no doubt would get used to it.ps dont park in directors allocated reserved space.
