Have been using the Jalsa Ghar for about 10 years now. Never ever had a bad meal. Food is hot, plentiful and very flavoursome. Naan breads are the best you’ll get. Staff are all very pleasant. Can be extremely busy of an evening so recommend booking.
Takeaway and dine in is absolutely excellent. The food is so fresh and flavoursome and clearly made to order. The restaurant has a great atmosphere too and the staff are really friendly. Keep up the great work.
Would leave 0 stars if I could. Waited over an hour in the cold only to be told my order was “lost”. I understand you’d be busy on NYE but to just lose orders is shocking. Special new year meal we were looking forward to ruined
Very disappointed in tonight's take away, not the usual, wondered if a new chef had been hired, bhuna, jalfrezi, chicken Tikka masala, all looked like masala, never had or seen a red bhuna or jalfrezi ,,,,,
Great food, great service and atmosphere happy friendly team who often ad a sense of humour to your evening out, we live in Great Dunmow and this is our go to for Indian cuisine can't fault really, if you are not eating in the take away is no less disappointing you just need to ad your own humour, highly recommend...
Terrible,waited for an hour to pick up our order in the car park to find ten or more people waiting inside! Luckily I was going to pay cash so I went home and will have a co op pizza instead a lot safer! I won't be going back again I'm affaid..
It is always a pleasure to visit there, the food is excellent, staff are smart and welcoming
