This park is one of the most beautifulest and cleanest parks I've ever been to great day out kids will love it top notch
Deffinetely my preferred park in Rochdale area! Not too big, not too small, this park offers plenty of space to enjoy. There are two playground areas the main one recently refurbished, a cafe with toilet open to the public, a grassed bowling court, two tennis courts, a sports court, a public gym and a BMX track There is a big parking lot across the main entrance and a small one next to the back gate. Playground: Two of them Restrooms: Behind the cafe Dog-friendliness: Plenty of space to walk dogs Picnic area: Grassed area and few pinnic tables around
Queens Park is one of my favourite local places to visit. Always beautiful, feel welcoming and quiet. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on kids playground area. Thanks to Rochdale Council
Really nice park, well maintained. Plenty for the kids to do and lots of open space if you want a kick about.
Visited very early on Sunday morning, specifically looking for a Kingfisher. Not really anyone about at this time. Didn't really enter the park proper, just circled around the river, but I've been a few times in the past, and it's a great park. So my journey around the river started with spotting the KF, then ended 4.5 hours later with some actual shots. Lots of other critters on the way. Shame the river is looking scruffy due to recent flooding. The amount of times I thought I'd spotted the KF, only to see it was some blue plastic...Frustrating. An enjoyable morning and most people I met were really friendly. Will go again.
A lovely park. Good playground. Nice cafe. Smart bowling green lawn and fantastic walk around the lake.
Always loved it here. Feels safe enough, but wouldn't go too late as there were kids on petrol scooters flying around. Other than that it's a great Victorian park
Such a nice park. Green flag status. Great play park for kids of all ages. Outdoor gym equipment for the teenagers. Lake, fountain , cafe , toilets , tennis courts, mini car/train. Beautiful walks. Recommend a visit.
Love this park, it's a heavenly wonderland! There so much to do for me and my little 3yr old boy. The playground has a great Climbing frame, trampoline, sand pit, musical instrument, little slide, swings, round about etc. You can decorate the dinosaurs with chalks, feed the geese, go on the epic pump track though not suitable for smaller scooters and balance bikers. There is a rainbow stage, a beautiful fountain to walk around, basketball courts, football, tennis courts, a toddler playground with the biggest play fire engine I've ever seen! Its beautifully maintained, has a super friendly reasonably priced cafe run by volunteers and 2 toilets! Great! We go pretty much everyday so see you there :-
Best park around my area..cafe is good for a brew, food isn't up to much, unfortunately.
