I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all the staff at Queen Elizabeth Hospital for the excellent care my wife received during her recent stay. She spent about three days there for an operation, and from the moment we arrived, everything was handled with the highest level of professionalism and kindness.nnThe operation was successful, and throughout her recovery, the nurses, doctors, and support staff were incredibly attentive and caring. They made sure she was comfortable and well looked after at all times. I don’t remember all of their names, but I would especially like to mention Emily, who was such a kind and compassionate person, and Sunny, who was also very friendly and supportive. Their positive attitude and professionalism made a real difference to our experience.nnThe hospital environment was clean and well organized, and my wife was served healthy and delicious meals every day, which really helped her recovery. The staff checked on her regularly, making sure she had everything she needed and always treating her with warmth and respect.nnHonestly, I don’t have a single negative comment—everything was perfect from start to finish. My wife and I are truly grateful for the care and dedication shown by everyone at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Thank you for making a difficult time much easier and for treating patients with such humanity and excellence.
I went into AandE on Saturday with a bad ankle. The place was clean, the services exceptional. The room was clean, warm and quiet. From the receptionist who I believe was Irish who was very welcoming, to the nurse Philomena who was outstanding, rhetorical ladies cleaning who helped me with blankets and accessing toilets, even customers were helpful, it was a lovely atmosphere. Philomena kept me smiling, was gentle, and thorough in her examination. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff I encountered. The waiting times are obviously something that is nationally a struggle, but a model for correct service was displayed by all your staff including xray nurse and doctor. Thank you Philomena and thank you NHS Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Poor communication, had my father recorded in the ward and police called as the patient who videoed him refused to delete it from their socials. None of the family were informed until it was too late and my dad was already passed away the ward had known for a few weeks before he had passed but said nothing. When my dad passed away on the ward the nurse had lacked empathy and compassion and the communication skills were very poor, they also had extremely poor moving and handling laying my dad flat when in respiratory distress making it even more difficult for him to breathe and making him distressed. The reason for the 3 star as the day time staff were lovely and my dad could be difficult at times but he was overall happy and liked the staff on the ward. The day staff nurses, Drs and hcas looked after him very well. The drs were happy spending the time to sit and explain what the investigations looked like and the plan for his care as I didn’t live local, I was grateful for that time. I just hope after talking to the sister nurse about the incidents that I mentioned that correct training was provided to the nurse on shift the night my dad passed
Exceptional surgery, care and respect experienced at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Thank you so much to my consultant, the surgery team and all of ward 28 staff for the care, compassion and dignity shown to me, throughout my stay. From admission to discharge I felt a positive and comforting ambience within the team.
I got sent to SDEC, from the moment I walked in the staff were phenomenal. I had fluid in my lungs and a potential AF.nnThe healthcare, Nurse and doctor were fantastic. Free refreshments available and all completely professional.nnMakes such a change for the NHS.nnThanks againnnSean
