Great place place for walking, cycling and a picnic. There is also a dog training area with lots of equipment to help you train your dogs to do tricks. Cycle tracks and trails for a sedentary ride or an all thrills down hill assault. Situated in the heart of the South Downs National Park in beautiful countryside, just off of the main A3 London to Portsmouth road. Toilets and visitor information centre are also on site.
Great place to take our gorgeous dog Max. He loved exploring for the first time. Also great to see the Dog bath for those pups that can't resist a muddy puddle. It will definitely be a regular walk for us.
Great place for a walk, hikes, or bikes. Lots of paths for walkers and special areas for those brave enough to mountain bike lots of picnic areas and a special bbq area at the top of the hill... toilet facilities also available near the car parks.
Unfortunately we came on a wet day, but still had lots of fun.. really beautiful scenery and the assault courses were great fun! Lots of people having parties in the designated outside areas where you can hire their rather authentic pizza ovens! Or have a bbq.. Will be going back on a brighter day!
Great little place if you want to spend a few hours in the nature. There's a few MTB trails, horse riding paths and also lots of paths for hiking. There's a coffee shop and toilets at the main car park. Parking charge is a "bit" expensive, but if you frequently visit than a year pass is a no brainer.
A lovely park and woodland, lots to see and do, we came here for Parkrun and met some really friendly people. Very nice visitors centre ready for Halloween and had a tasty bacon butty in the cafe
It's beautiful obviously, very enclosing woodland. The little shop/cafe is peculiar. Food and drink is over priced, and extremely limited in range. I would say the vast majority is not suitable for those with mobility issues as there's very jarring paths and a real notable lack of benches on the trails. On the upper routes where there could be astonishing views, its not really possible to see down the valley alot of the time, which I felt was a bit of a shame really. Perhaps the planners could have a look at how the rspb lay out their sites for the wildlife/public benefit as a bit of shared learning? If you love mountain biking though, you're all set.
Really great place. Beautiful walks, cycle paths and helpful car parks in multiple places. Great cafe, shop, loos. Picnic tables, areas and bbq facilities. So pretty in Autumn. Playground: Wonderful kids play areas and Kids Assault courses Restrooms: Clean Dog-friendliness: Very good for dogs, my dog loves the choice and always happy Picnic area: Lovely with many choices of place
Beautiful family day out or hardcore work out with nearly 1000ft elevation. Whichever suits u best. Multiple activities including assault courses, zipline, mountain bike trials that put bike park wales to the test, hirable bbq and outdoor pizza oven . I love this place. Dog wash and cafe to suit everyone. I definitely get my moneys worth on the car park as I have a years ticket which gives unlimited entry. A massive thank u to everyone involved making this place as magical as it is.
Absolutely stunning place to go for all ages . I had 5 children ranging for under 2 to 17 years . The car park is £2.50 and hour there is plenty on place to pay . There is lots of toilets and you can drive passed the car park if you don’t want to walk to much , there is a lot around there for dogs including agility courses and the surroundings are just stunning . There is a lovely play area for children we spent hours there .
