I was flooded at billing aquadrome and came over to the quays. Booked a room for one night and then had nowhere to go. The staff at the hotel and the pub were wonderful and went out of their way to help us. Family room accommodation and cooked us meals even though the pub was flooded. I believe all the staff and management deserve a medal. Its been the best service and any help required was given. We were all locked in for 3 days. I'd like to say a big thank you to Elisha the boss, Mia and Trish and all the staff. Been fantastic and we've all been looked after

We stopped off here for a quick bite to eat, not sure why the bad reviews. For 3 kids and 2 adults food and drink came to £45 bargain!!! We had carvery and it was so good, plenty of it and fresh and hot! Staff in there are so friendly and make an effort to chat to you and the kids. They are also dog friendly and bought over treats for the dog. Lovely place we will stop off here again.

We visit every few weeks as the food is always good and represents fantastic value! However, the stand out about this place is the staff who are exceptional! Always welcoming and friendly.  We visited today for our little girls 10th birthday her choice as its her fave place to eat out - high praise indeed from a fussy eater! and we were served by Mia, who was lovely, warm and engaging : Thanks also to the shift manager who also sorted a candle and a happy birthday song with our daughters dessert.  Places with staff like this are few and far between nowadays - I can't recommend it high enough.  Thanks

Staying here short notice due to flooding, the staff have done an amazing job to look after their guests, having to tackle issues themselves they have gone that extra mile to still keep facilties open all with a happy to help attitude. Shoutout to Mia and Stacey for their great customer care.

No, sorry not for me. Great to see a carvery for £7 or £8 large but you then pay way over on the drinks ie £3.50 for a coke. Meat was good but the rest was really quite average. Very busy so popular place for many and maybe we just chose a bad time
