Staff went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable as my mum is disabled. Food was lovely. The only thing I didn't like was the minted lamb burger, the combo was weird it had an onion baji, poppadoms and curry sauce on the burger in the bunn:/ haha never mind, the rest was delicious
Always a great atmosphere here, SKIVE were excellent, all Manchester music - fantastic night!
Last visited about 10 years ago but used to come here back in 1974/75 when I lived locally. Flic on his first visit. Lovely Hydes pub with bowling green to rear and thus lots of outdoor seating. Good pint of Hopster, one of up to five Hydes real ales. Large open pub spread around the central bar. Flic likes this pub.

Multiple TV screens showing sport and a great atmosphere The restaurant area, is quieter for dining, with table service and the food is delicious. The beer is Hydes and a great variety too of choice cask ales, which are all kept excellently, along with a good selection of other drinks. Nice comfortable outside drinking area overlooking a well kept bowling green. Staff professional and friendly. Look out for special events and offers on their website. A great pub all round. Well worth a visit.
I recently visited the Quarry Bank in Timperley, Altrincham, and I must say, the atmosphere was incredibly relaxing. The bar staff were not only friendly but also attentive, making the overall experience enjoyable. The lager they serve is of excellent quality, and I found myself looking forward to returning for another visit. A great spot for those seeking a laid-back pub with top-notch service and great beer.nnHowever, I have been here 3 times for food, each time The food has been slightly undercooked, hard chips etc..I did the British thing and just ate them and went off to moan on the internet...nIt's normally a Good pub
