I've just been for a meal here, the food was absolutely delicious I had the seabass and my partner had the steak and kidney pudding. We had dessert, which was also lovely. Can't fault the place, the staff were all really friendly, too. WIll definitely be going back!
Went back to the Quarry Bank on Saturday to try the new Spring/Summer menu. Definitely worth trying - between 4 of us, we had the cauliflower wings, onion bhajis, cheese & onion pie, Lamb Koftas and Chicken Souvlaki. All of them were very tasty. The service was prompt and very efficient - Siobhan was extremely helpful to us, especially when trying to decide between 2 difficult meal choices. Also, offering salad as an alternative to having fries. Looking forward to our next visit.
Staff went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable as my mum is disabled. Food was lovely. The only thing I didn't like was the minted lamb burger, the combo was weird it had an onion baji, poppadoms and curry sauce on the burger in the bunn:/ haha never mind, the rest was delicious
Last visited about 10 years ago but used to come here back in 1974/75 when I lived locally. Flic on his first visit. Lovely Hydes pub with bowling green to rear and thus lots of outdoor seating. Good pint of Hopster, one of up to five Hydes real ales. Large open pub spread around the central bar. Flic likes this pub.
Lovely food and friendly service. Also one of our group is a coeliac and she was delighted with the choice of food on the gluten free menu. Special shout out for the 2 lovely team members who helped my elderly auntie when she got locked in the loo!
