*****Buyers and sells beware! ****** Took a mixture of jewellery in a few weeks ago to have valued. Said I was gong to donate any cash to a local charity. Was told silver and the various rings were of low value. Decided to take £10 for the two yellow gold male rings but took the silver and the dress rings to the charity shop explaining that I had been told they were of low value. Charity shop took the rings to the same jewellers and was given a two figure estimated value for all the rings and the jewellers bought one for over £60. Went to jewelers today to complain and got a very disinterested response. Have no confidence now in their valuations or their attitude to what has transpired.

We bought some wedding rings here and their service, costs and quality were excellent - great to have competitive prices while getting solid advice and guidance from the people there. Suffice it to say they are now my first port of call with all jewellery related matters.

Took in watch for a simple battery replacement 21 May. Staff advised watch would be ready to collect Monday. When I called into the shop on Monday they advised battery out of stock and they would contact me when received. Phone call received on Wednesday stating that whilst they had fitted the battery the watch was broken. Took watch home and, on checking internet and opening the back of the watch, saw that they had put battery in back to front. I inserted a new battery correctly and the watch works fine. However when I phoned the owner, a Mr Phillip Webb, advising that the waterproof seal appeared to be missing he became aggressive but eventually agreed that I could take the watch back and they would replace the seal at no cost to me. At no time, despite their incompetence, did the owner or staff offer an apology. Indeed they appear more concerned with sales than customer service. I would strongly suggest other customers take care when dealing with this company.
