We walked here so didn't need to park but there was plenty of parking available. The weather wasn't great on our visit but we still made the most of it and had loads of fun. There was a cafe but it was closed on the bank holiday when we visited but the public toilets were open and although not in the best condition overall, the actual toilets not cubicles were clean and there was loo roll so that was a win. There were plenty of places to sit, we had a picnic with us and were very comfortable. There was lots of very soft white sand to navigate dry sand in dunes/bank, so you sink down a little on each step - great workout to get onto the beach. The beach itself is long and very easy to walk along. My visit was in August, so dogs are allowed but not on the whole beach, so if you have a furry friend with you, you need to check the signage. An absolutely beautiful beach and well worth a visit.
Nice walk with access to the beach. Car parks I think were about £3.60 for three hours
Unusually for a seaside town the seafront is all houses. So we couldn't see anywhere to get a drink or food nearby. Saying that the beach is long and sandy with car parking all behind the dunes. When we were there every person had about 400mtrs to themselves but expect it gets a lot busier. Another great kids beach but take everything you are likely to need
Great but limited for dogs in some areas during summer, plenty of beach is open for dogs just need to be aware of some restrictions.
Definitely not worth a visit. This town is poor no architectural features, derelict lots of places have closed down and neglected the community doesn't do anything to improve the depressive atmosphere
